I was wondering since this will be the first time i actually did a flush. I know that recommend flower times will vary based on grow conditions, with that said how can one tell if it is time to flush for harvest. Im currently at the end of week 7 of a 9 week flower. I know by far my conditions are not perfect mediocre at best , ( but im trying ) . I dont want to flush too early, is there a way to know for sure when its time to flush ? Thanks in advance and happy holidays.
Are you using synthetic nutrients? If so just follow their recommendations/scheduling. I grow in organic and it doesn’t need to be flushed. Everyone’s different though so let’s see what the rest of the Canna-Fam says
Flowering times vary Growmie, and checking the trichomes is the most accurate method to determine when it’s time to harvest. As far as flushing goes, it’s not needed unless you’re correcting a PH issue in the medium. I’ll often stop nutrients the last week or 2 and water feed only versus the flush
Best way to know when to flush is don’t flush. If you think you’re within a week or two, just water with straight water until the end. Flushing is a myth IMO.
If in doubt, don’t flush. Many never flush; it is optional.
Best advice ever.
I stop fed when I see bud look like it reach it end of grow and start die(dry). straight pH water about week or two weeks depend on how fast she ripe. never bother flush. got a clean smoke after dry & cure.
Really great info.
i watch the foxtails and when i start seeing mostly cloudy trichomes is when i start flushing, with soil at least. haven’t quite had the opportunity to dial in when to flush coco, but ill get there eventually
