I think Im getting close to harvest. Been reading up on Flushing. Im using Fox Farms Happy Frog for my soil. Read that you do not want to flush with certain soil. I did supplement with Tiger Bloom. It’s been a week since I last fed them. Been water every 2-3 days since. Need a little guidance on Flushing. Also everyday Im having leaves fall off. A bunch are turning yellow but plants look good. Thanks in advance.

Many growers don’t flush at all before harvest and don’t believe that it makes a difference. That is what I’ve found. I do stop feeding the last week or 2 of the grow since the plant doesn’t need a whole lot to ripen flower in the late stages - saves a bit of time and a few doses of nutes.

How long has she been in flower? I usually dial back feeding 3 to 4 weeks before harvast. Then flush the last 10ish days. As far as when they are ready you need to look at the trichs. For that you’ll need a jewelers loupe or pocket microscope. When the trichs are cloudy its ready. A lot of people, including myself, like to wait a little longer for 10-20% amber trichs. Don’t worry too much about the leaves dieing at the end of flower, it’s perfectly normal at the end of flower.

I set to flower on Feb 18. 7 weeks tomorrow. The last feed of nuts was 6 days ago. Since im watering as needed. I want to make sure I understand the flushing thing, ive read you fully saturate then wait 15 minutes and do it again. Is this true? Also how many times do i do it? Its an indoor grow and i really dont want to flood my tent.

As mentioned i’m one of those guys that don’t flush at the end. Tap water only the last couple weeks I don’t even bother to PH the water at that point.

I usually stop feeding around week 8 and then just tap water until harvest. I’ve done 3 grows so far and a few plants i cut too early around the 8-9 week mark. The others went at least 10 weeks and as much as 13 weeks. If those pictures are current id say you got 2-3 more weeks at least.I would have still been feeding nutes and checking runoff ppms . You said you stopped feeding nutes 6 days ago so like 6th week mark. The buds are still packing on weight.

I should clarify that I don’t really believe in flushing out nutes. I just dial back the nutes to allow the plant to die naturally for lack of a better term.

Allowing 2 weeks for transition puts you at 5 weeks of actual flower time
Still another 3 - 4 weeks to go imo.
Personally I’d restart feeding and let the plant finish growing.
Also the tiger bloom and water diet is why the leaves are yellowing and dropping off.
They need nitrogen throughout the grow although less thru flower.

Your buds still have a lot of white pistols. Also they look on the small side and could definitely use some fattening then ripening more. It’s my opinion your girl has a while to go. I would have continued with the nutrients but that’s water under the bridge.
I’d say a couple of weeks at least.
