Started my plants in Miracle Grow

I started my plants in Miracle Grow (I know now after reading, that this is a no no) and they appear to be doing great, maybe a little to good but I have no idea what they should look like other then pictures I have seen on this sight. They are a little over 2 weeks old. Should I continue to grow them in Miracle grow when I transplant them or change the soil?

Here is a picture of them under the grow light. I hope I did it right.

If you have access to soil that is designed for cannabis, you probably should change. If you transplant into more MG soil you may start having problems with ph. Also with time released nutrients that are in MG when you water,it may be releasing nutrients that your plant doesn’t need. That’s one of the reasons that your ph can be off, a lot of nutrients lowers ph in soil. I’ve never tried growing in MG but have seen several people like you. Their plants do fine in early veg,but start having issues as they get older. Better to change now rather than having to deal with problems later. Also wanted to say Welcome to ILGM forum.

Thank you very much

Yes, change to a cannabis friendly soil when you repot. Trust us on this.

Well come to the forum!
They look good to me as far as I can tell with the lighting. Try and post pics in white light or using your flash.
Yea if funds and access permits get some potting soil designed for cannabis. I’ve used/use and like Fox farms ocean forest and roots Organics rod (Original) and also mix that with their green fields mix.
My first grow I used miracle grow and had some bumps but went to harvest with all 3 and was a decent yield and smooth smoke. If using 5 gallon pots a 1.5cuft bag contains about 10 gallons worth so with 3 plants you’ll need 2 bags or mix some MG in with it if needed. Anything will work it’s just how much you’ll wanna deal with.

They look like they will need up potted pretty soon. Cloth pots are what I would also recommend squatter and wider more than taller and narrower.

Wow. @Skydiver Cheap too.

I’d assume mixing it with ffof might be too hot, but perhaps happy frog? Thoughts?

Based on what I read you will mix it with ocean Forrest or whatever you choose for the bottom 1/3 or so and then top it off with just the OF or whatever soil you chose.

I think I’m going to run this for several clones I have going to try it out.
Is good for up to 25 gallons soil I believe

I may have to give it a whirl.
Although, I don’t want to make my grows too easy.:joy::rofl::rofl:

Oh trust me, recently with the WPM, Aphids, and transitioning from tents to dedicated grow room, nothing has been easy.
