So something weaved several leaves together (see pic). When I started picking at it to see what was going on this huge spider with an egg sac on its back came charging out. My natural instincts kicked in and I blasted it with my ballcap. Good thing it was 6 a.m. this morning and I was stone cold sober…anyone seen this before?

Spiders will ruin you’re plant’s, I have to fight them all year they web up the leaves , another challenge I had were stink bug’s they will eat a plant up, I didn’t want too but I used Sevin Dust to get rid of them i remember my grandmother dusting the garden and it killed stink bug’s, so I really didn’t have much of a choice, I use Captain Jack’s mostly but those stink bug’s are super tough

I have a love hate with spiders. They kill and eat many of the pests that consume and kill your plants, buuuuut they leave webs everywhere and they don’t just wash off. I get a lot that do what that one did on yours and I’ll just pluck the leaf and chunk it.

It’s normal outside. The spider was ready to make a nest & settle down so that sack could hatch into hundreds of babies. Find the body… you don’t need it rolling up on you when you least expect it for revenge. These things are like those mob hits in the movies. We need the head… a body… something to confirm the deed has been “Handled”

Couldn’t help but laugh out loud! As I’m reading your post I’m actually picturing you trying to unweave the leaves… And then this big ass spider comes jumping out at you! Well hopefully you get it figured out. Have you tried DE?

Yes I’ve had this problem as well I just keep plucking the nests out and getting rid of them. I like them and I don’t. Did you wake and bake before the “attack”?

I really hate spiders lol. I was sober. Heading to work. My grow is going well. 3 autos and 1 photo. Next few days are going to be perfect growing weather. Life is good.

I’ve seen a few spiders by the way! I’ve heard Captain Jacks Dead Bugs Spray works good. Also DE works good. I’m just using Neem Oil for Veg Stage.

Quick question… Do you find it better to feed your plants every time you water or every other time you water? Just curious seeming I’m on my first grow and just started feeding them at 5 weeks. Thanks!
