First grow... spider problem

This is my first time growing indoor, I have 5 plants in seedling stage. One of them (cookies) has a small grey spider living in the soil. I tried to get it out but it digs deeper in soil when I try to remove it. There aren’t any webs on the plant itself but I noticed some webbing on the edge of the pot(3 gallon pot), that I disposed of. What should I do? I’ve only seen 1, but not sure if I should get some type spider killer or something. Please help!!!

Do you have any pictures you may be able to show? Is there any discoloration of the leaves at all? Also is this an indoor grow? Outdoor grow? Just some questions to help us figure it out a bit thanks.

Edit: I see it’s a indoor grow after rereading sorry, what are you growing in? Enclosed tent? Open room? Garage?

Spiders will eat the other pests that might not be a bad thing. Just get some sticky fly paper traps and lay it down by the hole if you wantf to get rid of him.

Does it come out when you water the plant?

It is an indoor grow, I can’t catch a pic of the spider but I can upload a pic of the plant. I’m growing in a closet right now. Will be expanding to a room once I get more equipment. There isn’t any discoloration though

Yes it comes out right after I water the plant. It’s really small spider, like maybe half a cm big

That looks like a healthy babe right there! As long as it doesn’t seem to be doing harm I wouldn’t mind it but I’d kill it as soon as possible just because you don’t really want bugs around your plants…well I don’t at least, unless they are lady bugs. But I’d say next time you water and it comes out just squash it. I grow outdoors so bugs are inevitable but I try to kill everyone I see around my plants just because.

It’s hard to squash it, because when u get near it, it digs itself into the soil, but I will try to kill it.

A couple more questions for u…

  1. how do these look for a first timer
  2. the hudimity in the room stays pretty low 40-50%, is this too low for this stage and if so how should I raise it? (I’ve been misting the girls daily)
3)this is Day 16, when should I introduce nutrients?

For a first timer those are gorgeous! Very nice looking plants.
Now humidity is something that varies amongst people. I think that level is fine, but this chart should help you out some. Raising humidity can be as easy as getting a humidifier or getting a bowl of water and keeping it in in your space. Depends on how much you wanna raise it.

Now regarding nutes some people say wait until the cotyledons (first round leaves) die off and then start giving nutes, some people wait until they start seeing deficiencies in the plants so I guess it’s preference, I personally started when the cotyledons started dying off. Which nutes are you using?

Here is also a chart of the nutrients table and which pH the nutrients can be locked out of getting absorbed and when they start to uptake.
