Soil Slurry Numbers

You want about 5.5 to 6.0 to help pull that 7.3 that you have now a little faster. After a couple times at 5.5 then go to 6.5.

Here is a chart, and 6.5 to 7.0 is were you want to be. I find it best to stay on the low side of that number, and 6.5 has aways worked for me.

Cool. Thanks for the cheater. That’s one I don’t already have. Even though none of it really makes a whole lot of sense to me. Lol! I never saw the 5.5 anywhere. I have only had 1 crop before this and tried to remain right around 7 cause it was the halfway mark of what I’d read. That’s kinda why the slurry being over 7.5 was bothering me with the yellowing leaves. My old dirt looks real good so far. Some of it is frozen in this 1st bag that’s been next to the wall and surrounded by the other bags. I think this was the best decision given my current circumstances at this pivotal place where I could wake up tomorrow, if I sleep tonight at all, and may have lost one or more. Trying to hurry up cause their light goes out at 11. Darn things have me on more of a schedule than my Grands.

@ShureGreen G’day mate you are complicating problems relax looks good mate, early stages yeah but keep goin dont be negative you are doing great mate

My Aussie Mate. Always there with the voice of calm and reason. You’re correct, kind Sir, I often do feel like things are worse than they are. I’m just so worried, I guess, because there are certain individuals whose opinion I sort of care about that have heard how great my 1st round was and are saying I will only get better, yada, yada, and then some new thing that could stunt them again arises and I’m like, dang! Of course something terrible will happen, that’s par for my course. So I try to get ahead of it and maybe make more trouble than there would have been had I left well enough alone. I’m sure you probably get seeds from here too and know the price paid isn’t small. Once I lose, I’m out. Pretty much is the bottom line. So it’s do it right or suffer. I don’t like to waste good suffering. In my best Pinhead tone.

6.5 is always the sweet spot for soil. Cant go wrong during veg or flower at this range. Here is another chart for your cheat sheet collection which can help narrow down future problems should they arise.

Heck Yeah. Thanks man.

No, no, no. It is just a ā€œsayingā€ where I’m from. Meaning the standard or just how things go. My Dad was an avid Golfer though. Lol!
