Slow growth, first time grower

Hello; This is my first ever attempt to grow so I have lots to learn and appreciate any and all advice. My plants are blue dream Autos and they have been in soil about 2 weeks. They are planted in top soil (lowes) Up until today I had not used any fertilizer. I added some Dr. Earth all purpose fertilizer today (spinkled on top before watering). I germinated the seeds and planted them in final 3 gallon containers. They broke surface about a day and half after planting. The first week I believe I had insufficient lighting because they became very stretched and leggy. Ive had new lighting on them for 7 days now. my FFPd is 580 and the DLI is 42. I give them a nouthwash cup of distilled water every other day. They have showm very little growth over the course of last 7 days. Is the growth normal or is it stunted? I have never grown and just gauge it off pictures of other people’s plants at 2 weeks. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

While ur plant is growing its sending out roots so ur growth will slow for a bit once it has its roots out enough she will go through a growth spurt if u want good healthy root growth mix 2.5 mls of seaweed liquid into a ltr of ph water and give this to ur plant it helps with rapid root growth and healthy roots aswell it will hel pur plant grow nicely

Have you seen my new babies :baby:

No i dont think so what ones do u have

ok thank you. That most likelycould be my problem because I only recently learned by someone sharing their knowledge with me that I have been watering incorrectly. I start watering directly on the stem and work my way out in a circle patern. Someone recently advised me to start about an inch of so from the stem to encourage the roots to seek water. so its most likely possible I havent encourage good root growth. I also made the mistake of starting in final pot. I tried to do research but there is a lot of I wont say incorrect(since i clearly am not knowledgeable) but conflicting information around. Im glad now to be involved in a community where I can get answers to my questions. thank you again for your time. It is greatly appreciated

Beautiful plants. very well done. I just really hope mine take off soon. Hopefully as I get more experience I also learn patience. I do worry to much over them and expect to see more instant results to my adjustmenets. At this point it is much harder than I ever anticipated. something is for sure off on my plants. These particular seeds also come from seedsman and are not a ILGM strain so possibly bad genetics? Is seedsman seed bank a trustworthy supplier? just trying to gather info while I do better to get my plants roots to grow… lol that is most likely my problem I do believe.

Looking good bro i cant wait seem them when there bigger

Try putting a dome on it and dont water anymore till it gets more leaves. When the plant is this size it gets its water from the leaves so needs super high humidity. Cut the top off a water bottle and dome your seedling and spray the dome a few times per day. It worked wonders for me.
