The main thing you need is a Rozen press. The one I have is made by the brand dabpress. Nug smasher is another good brand. There’s other good ones too, I’m just only coming up with those off the top of my head. You can also build your own if you buy a press from a hardware store and then buy the heating plates from someone like dab press
Other stuff you’ll want to have would be parchment paper and some pressing bags. Those would be anywhere from 30 up to 150u depending on whether you are pressing bubble hash or flower. Press club is a good brand.
There’s a couple of good rosin making threads in this site. I’m not in a position where I can post a link right this minute but I’m sure if you look around you’ll find it pretty quickly. If I have a minute later I’ll try and find the link
Yeah that’s what I was thinking as well. I am looking for something different for outdoor and I have tried all the skunk and haze. The only two I can grow outdoor with limited issues are white widow and northern lights. Almost all skunk crosses get powdery mildew. Gorilla glue, blue dream etc get grey mold. White widow auto does fairly well on the coast but we use to grow an outdoor strain brought back from hawaii that we called hawaiian purple that grew with no mold issues here but flowered till late oct early November. I lost it “More like some mother stole it from a helicopter” and have struggled outdoor with mold and mildew since then.
Thai weed crosses like White Widow and Northern Lights seem to work best from Lake Charles to Pensacola, not the Sativa’s.
It’s supposed to be Brazilian Sativa and Indian Indica, but I can smell the Thai in all of today’s versions. Northern Lights has Thai in it and it does the best outside so far. I can’t hold my Northern Lights in Veg indoors under 18/6 or outdoors
Main thing I’d say is don’t expect it to melt your face. It’s a mellow cerebral high that goes well with a cup of coffee and a long list of stuff to do.
Here’s a link to my grow from Winter ‘20 with some Maui and other stuff. The Maui tolerated heavy feeding well both times I grew it.
Glad to see the OP is gulf coast because I can’t imagine growing this Maui up north at my latitude would go well. Long flowering times.
I did recall one thing from when I grew it last - it was such a heavy feeder that I failed to keep up with it with just organic ferts. She was really hungry in the last 4-5 weeks and I wound up having to feed Ff Cha-Ching for quick availability
After the lights are switched to 12/12 i generally count 12 days of preflower then count my flowering weeks from that point. So how long was your mowis flowering time?
Thanks! Things got a little out of hand there for a while with these girls. I was tending to my outdoor harvest while they were growing in one of my closets. Before I knew it I had 3 bushes close to 5 foot tall after just watering them for a few months without pruning.
