Should I return the Lobo even before I unbox it? (Warning: long read, only click if you're bored.)

How much did it cost you with the sale??

Oh man I just looked at the site there is so many different ones and different prices. I seen one for $80 I seen one for $350. Will the cheapest ones get the job accomplished still??

Look again, I don’t think that there are any Lobo’s for that price. The ONE is not a Lobo or even close.

Okay so only the real lobos are $300 and up?

The Lobo and the ONE, in that order, are your best values.

The Lobo is around $160 or so. There are several bundles with extra cool stuff for the higher prices. I like the enthusiast bundle. I use my Lobo with the Planet bubbler daily. I only use the Lobo with dosing capsules to keep the oven clean and for convenience.

The ONE and the Lobo. Lobo has a larger oven and capsules, replaceable battery, and slightly more adjustability. Except for capsules, both use the same accessories. Both are rechargeable via USB, and you can recharge Lobo batteries with an external charger. They have identical warranties. Both deliver excellent performance. POTV customer service is top shelf.

A total of 202.81 before taxes. The Lobo was 127.96 sale price and there’s boxes to click to add extras for less than purchased separately - I got the Gordito bubbler for 15 instead of the normal 25. Then I added the Lobo Starter Kit marked down from 67 to 50. Threw in a wall adapter too. :victory_hand:

Good morning, growmie… I use the Venty and love it. Like others have responded many use the Lobo. All of their comments I agree with concerning the capsules and how to use them. I’m 72 and like you been smoking way too many years. The first thing you’ll notice is you won’t have a body high that comes from the burning of the plant material. It will be a much cleaner feeling and taste, and it will last much longer. It is a creeper. It doesn’t hit you as fast because you’re not burning the plant material that causes that instant feeling that really isn’t the feeling that we all want from the terpenes… and you definitely will save on your weed. I smoke about 1/10 of what I used to smoke per day and I love the fact that I can wear any shirt. I want to without fear of burning a hole in it and stinking of skunk. Welcome to the dry herb vaping community.

I would love to have a Venty! Out of my budget and the Lobo performs quite well.

Pawinlaw been here a few days now. He is an occasional partaker of the bud.
He can’t stop smiling and talking about the flavors coming out of the Lobo :hugs::green_heart::sign_of_the_horns:t2:

Thanks for the info, Rog. I didn’t want to be tempted so I didn’t even look at the Venty the other day. Like @merlin44 that’s a bit steep for me, especially if it winds up buried in the top dresser drawer. But it’s sounding like my doubts may be unwarranted. :crossed_fingers:

I guess it could reside in your top dresser drawer but since I suspect that you will use it every time you want to get a buzz, that may not be all that convenient.

Are you planning on getting a Lobo for him for Christmas?

I wish I could :+1:t2::green_heart::sign_of_the_horns:t2:

If I remember correctly, you purchased the Lobo Starter Kit. That kit does not appear to include an herb grinder.

I think that a grinder is a must for dry herb vaping. You don’t need the POTV grinder, any decent herb grinder will do the trick.

Your Lobo should be arriving soon! I ordered a POTV accessory for a buddy on Friday and it is due to arrive tomorrow.

ROG, that is one of the best explanations of the dry herb vaping experience I’ve heard. Thank you for sharing Growmie :hugs:
I can speak about the Crafty+ as well. Excellent products from S&B, but sp$ndy. Good cloud maker, if thats what you desire. Coolest vapor of any dry herbalizer I’ve used. Can not swap batteries like you can with the Lobo tho.

The Crafty+ is another dry herb vape that I would love to have.

LOL I have champaign tastes on a tap water budget. LOL

The Starter Kit doesn’t have the 4 piece grinder like the Advanced Kit but it has what they call a GrindVac Container (?) that has what looks to me like a 2 piece grinder in it.

But If not, I think there’s a grinder or two laying around the house I’ll hunt one out if I need to. One of them, I remember, looks like a silver dollar :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:.

Got an email this morning from POTV. Tracking shows the Lobo won’t be here until Dec 5  Ohhh, the agony!!!

I didn’t realize that it was the “GrindVac” as it looks so much like the vacuum container. You are in good shape.
