This is Apple fritter auto, 50/50 sativa Indica hybrid. Auto pots with coco 18/6 light schedule, general hydro nutes 700 ec. 4 weeks old. Plants won’t really grow vertically just staying low and bushy did some LST training raised the light, but still not stretching vertical at all.
How long has the light been raised? Would think they will react to it but not might be quickly
Looking good for 4 weeks, they’ll double in size during the flowering stretch
They look kinda overwatered to me. They look like they are just getting big enough to turn on the reservoir. I would turn off the reservoir, and turn on the air domes for a day or two.
Also what is your humidity in the tent?
Just wait till you flip and then youll be amazed…
For about 3 days now raised the light and set it to 70 % power
I don’t see that as a problem. As Chitty says once you flip the lights to 12/12 they will stretch out. Some strains are naturally squatter than others too. I have one in the tent that is half the size as others and still perfectly healthy. Yours look fine.
Is that Coco or Soil?
They’ve been on the res. For over 2 weeks now the plants to me look healthy there just not growing vertically like I’m used to this is my 4th grow using auto pots and most of the time at four weeks the plants are bigger then this. Now this is my first grow with Apple fritter so it’s a new strain to me.
I’m about 2-1/2 weeks behind you on an indoor run of AF auto’s and will be watching your progress if you continue posting. Thx!
They’re old enough for the auto pots Growmie. I transplant seedlings at 14 days above ground, top feed for 10-12 days then turn the auto pots on
You have a little more experience with AutoPots than myself. But after doing a few different strains, I know some strains appear somewhat droopy in them.
I do agree with others the stretch maybe due to genetics, and all four look the same. I had plants that after the flip, the plant looked like a dense bush with leggy branches bolting out of the top.
I’m running coco and these are autos so I won’t be changing my 18/6 light schedule. Now the photos were taken 45 min. After the lights came on so there naturally a little droopy do to the rest cycle, but for some reason this strain doesn’t look as strong as the gorilla glue or the girlscout cookies I’ve grown in the past!
I’ll continue to update thanks for the reply
Humidity level stays around 65%
Whats your air temp?
They will still stretch when they flower.
In coco is great. I dont think you have any worries.
I think 55% would be a little better, as the coco gives off moisture. I like to check humidity at the top of the pots as well.
Apple fritter! Yum What light are you running? I agree w the above, plants look great just a lil squat and bushy! Had a few that grew that way! 2 weeks on the reservoir they could still be dealing w transplant shock? I’m guessing they will perk up soon. Keep us posted!
Im using the ac infinity s400 600w, and thanks for the response and I’ll will keep updating.
