Banana Kush auto behind schedule

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Banana Kush autos from ILGM
Mars 600w light (18/6 schedule)
They’re taking 24-36oz of distilled water at this point
Soil in 1 gallon breathable pots

These have been going great for 7 full weeks but still no real buds starting week 8. I don’t want to risk accidentally ruining them with nutes at this point they are only 2ft tall but I’m assuming that’s from the small pots and tent.

Looking beautiful, you don’t had no problems with the nute they look healthy
And they go to get more big

Side of the plant is about side of you pot only I had small pots and they grow like 3ft so yours go to be like 3 to 4ft tall

Look you pots are 5gl so she go to be tall like 5ft by 3ft

Looking healthy but outgrowing pots. What is your tent temperature and humidity levels?
Also I didn’t see what soil mix and weekly nutrient schedule your using.
I suggest going to 5 gal. fabric pots now.

Tent has been 70-78° 40-50% humidity constant. Tent is 24x50 so I won’t be able to get much more height from the plant without light burn

Have you heard of LST, low stress training?

Also you may try using trellis netting a build a SCROG.

They’re pretty saggy , either it’s overwatering, underwatering , or they were pretty fatigued from being close to lights out time

Thank you, yes Ik what LST is, can I LST at any time? It does get very droopy when it’s dry and needing water, she perks right up after watering. Im worried about running out of space with these busy plants.

Pot size counts in soil for sure. If not going to go to a larger size start feeding them for what you have. I am soil grower also. If pots are light when picked up soak the crap out of them. If heavy letem dry then a nice routine.A little calmag maybe molasses. Ph 6-6.5 or so. I shoot for 6.3-6.5. When they perk up feedem and lovem. Just my opinion. Auto timers drive me crazy if need a recovery. I could be wrong. More of a photo guy.

Yes, as long as branches are limber enough to manipulate them, you can LST.
If they are too stiff but you still need to bend, supercropping is similar except you “crush” the stalk first to allow it to bend without breaking.

Agree with @GreenSnek, would also add that MarsHydro 600 will not flower those to their potential. What size tent and number of plants do you have?

They look on schedule to me. You’re already in flower the first week and have about 7 more weeks to go

Seed to smoke what is the total time frame usually? 8 week grows are not actually a thing from what I’m figuring out.

Is it too late for a trimming? Or is it worth the risk to trim one plant and see what happens?

More like 11to12 weeks start to finish then one week to hang up and dry

This is mine at 4 1/2 weeks. From what i have read most of your trimming should be done before the plants go into flowering stage.

Earliest I’ve ever had was 72 days seed to finish and the most was like 94. Usually between those days they finish for me

Good to know! Thanks I appreciate the info. I’ll have to try to be more patient over the next few weeks

I didn’t see anything that need trimming. Definitely too late for topping or anything like that. You can LST still it will be good practice but as @OGIncognito said:

This is the stage where you will see how the light is under-powered. Your buds will likely be airy and loose. Not a total loss by any means but not as good as it could be.

I plan to only do 1 plant at a time in the future but I wanted to see what this light could do with 2 plants. I will LST tonight and see if that helps.

Im not expecting dispensary quality buds but for a cheap small setup I have no complaints, just want to try to maximize the set up I have. Doing only one plant at a time should make a difference I think.
