Shonuff’s Apple Fritter Grow

6/18/24
At week 10, my APF’s are about 5’8" tall now.
I ran out of Bergman’ 2nd stage nutes about 2 weeks ago. I fertilized twice with what I had left of my Fox Farm nutes, but now I’ve run out of the “Grow Big” nitrogen rich liquid and almost out of the “Bloom” nutes.
I don’t see evidence of flowering yet, although I h I pe it’ll be soon.
Can I start feeding the 3rd stage Bergman’s yet or do I need to wait until I see flowers forming?
Biggest fan leaves turned yellow and I removed them. Now some of the smaller leaves are yellow too.

Welcome…

Is there a way to add to my grow journal without it being a reply to the journal?

A couple pics from this past week.
I’m not sure what’s going on with the fan leaf. Wierd!

Shonuff, I’m also growing apple fritter for the first time. In the past I’ve simply picked seeds out of good sensy that I liked the effects from. Gravity bong was my way of testing lol. But everything has changed. Way more sophisticated and considerably higher potency with all these strains. I’ve had some crazy times this year. Only two bc… Well let’s just say I’m still learning. Even though I’ve been outdoor growing since I was 13 (1992) :joy: I’ve kinda made quite a strange problem for myself… Too much going on there and idk which leaves or branches to eliminate, if any…? Had problems with EVERY damn thing possible and that’s why there’s so many tops. Thrips, spider mites, fungus gnats, slugs, the one on the left has been knocked over (stalk literally broke three times in two weeks bc it was so heavy and my dog broke a big limb loose from the stalk which caused it to have a weak spot. Never once wilted or was unhappy except when they were young I all but killed them with straight dawn to the leaves. Luckily, after taking that beating, they are now budding very well. This strain seems very relentless and stubborn. I have only fed my plants twice. Peter’s special 20/20/20. That was quite some time ago. Of course, I’ve had em in the ground since they were 8" tall. Idk how the hell to go about picking the right shit to trim. I KNOW it would benefit greatly by eliminating some baggage. Idc about big buds. I care only about quality and overall yield. I’ll post more pics when I get the chance. If I can figure out how LMAO. I’m not computer savvy. I’m generation X so I grew up doing dumb shit and have not grown out of that yet :call_me_hand::metal:

I just ran across this post. I’ve got some apple fritter growing as well but it doesn’t seem to be thriving as much as the Gold, gsc or the granddaddy purple which seems to really really like it here lol I’ll post some individual pics of the apple fritter tomorrow.
