That sounds fine by me.
I’m using Fox Farm Ocean Blend.
3 seeds germinated after 4 days soaking. Planted them 1/4" deep in 6" plastic pots. Watered with .5g/liter of the ILGM seedling fertilizer, twice since planting on 3/31/24.
They were looking a bit “leggy”, so I dropped my lamp (I don’t remember it’s specifics) from 26" away, to 18". That seems to have stopped the “legginess”. I grow the seedlings in a bay window in my bedroom.
Temps outside were too cold, so they’ve stayed inside except for one day. High winds put a kink in one plant, but I staked it with a bamboo grilling skewer and a bread tie. It seems to be doing good so far. Brought them all back in until today.
I transplanted them into plastic 2-gallon pots this morning. Next transplant will be into the 10 gallon fabric pots when they’re ready.
I know conditions aren’t ideal, but I’m working with what I have.
The past 2 summers I grew Big Bud (2022) and Bruce Banner outdoors. Plants grew twice as tall as predicted in ILGM descriptions, but yields weren’t bad.

It’s been cold and windy for the past 6 days here in zone 6B, so I moved my babies inside. Finally, overnight lows are supposed to be above 50 degrees and less wind for the next 2 weeks at least, so I brought them outside.
I stake them with bamboo shish kebob skewers and secure them with wire ties. I monitor stem growth and loosen the ties as needed until the stems get stronger.
4 1/2 weeks since germination, the plants are 6 1/2" - 8" tall.
I will be starting fertilizing today with Bergman’s Stage 2 Grow Time fertilizer. Until now, I was using their seedling fertilizer.

Can you set this up as a journal for me?

Used the Bergman’s on my first grow indoors and have used last yr on outdoors also, and to MidwestGuy thanks for the help last fall on bud rot, will tag both of you in my Jounal to show you shonuff1460 what Bergmans can do and MidwestGuy what I have done this winter!

I used Fox Farm fertilizers for my “auto” grows the past 3 summers (White Widow, Blueberry, and Amnesia Haze), but none on my in-ground feminized strains. Autos seem harder to grow for me, and I wasn’t impressed with the results. There was no bushiness to the plants and yoelds were much smaller than what ILGM said they should’ve been.
Hence switching to Bergmann’s. I figured I’d give that a shot this year.

Transplanted my girls to 10 gallon fabric pots this morning.
When fertilizing with Bergmann’s, do I need to feed full strength or half strength from what is shown oncl their chart? I’m waiting to water until I hear from my friends on here.
Also, when should I start trimming lower leaves and topping off?
