Just bought some GG4 auto seeds, waiting. My description says gorilla glue feminized, my banana kush had bk auto. And didn’t see sku # that matched any item. Can anyone give me some info to find out what is coming?

Did you get them from ILGM? What does the bag they came in say? Got a pic?

Auto means your seeds won’t have their growth dictated by a light source. They can bloom with 12 hrs on and 12 off or straight 24 hrs of lighting. If it said photo seed they would need a minimum of 18 hrs per day to remain in a growth state and once they hit maturity you would need to change your light timer to 12/12 to stimulate flower development. Autos typically finish their life cycle in under 17 wks but no promises, it’s done when it’s done.
Fem means you purchased a female seed so your guaranteed flower buds. You get a male it’s time to cull lol.

You need to contact the seed shop customer service to answer that question.
Simply reply to the order confirmation email you received and ask if they are Autoflower or Photo period seeds. They may switch them for you if they are not what you want and they have not shipped yet.

Just got a message back got feminized not auto. Never did just feminized before, new to grow for a year. Always grew autos.
I prefer photos to autos. Biggest differences being the ability to preserve genetics through cloning and you having to manually force flower. Basically the same aside from those two things

I switched a couple years ago and am glad I did.
You can grow it like an auto and just use a 12/12 schedule from the start and they will flower early.
I find the plants are more healthy and have fewer growth problems.
If you have the extra couple weeks it takes you can grow under 18/6 schedule until you fill your tent and fill it with fewer plants. I fill my 3x4 tent with 2 plants. I could fill it with just 1 by waiting another week or two before switching to flower.
You can grow autos and photos together by simply doing the light schedule for the photo period and popping an auto in the tent too. It wont care what the light schedule is.
You may find you like them better than autos. I know I did.
