Yes. A full uninterrupted 12 hours dark is absolutely critical. And yes it stays that way until chopping time.
That 12 hours is a must as a minimum otherwise they can re-veg or hermi - and you don’t want that.

If it’s a photo plant, then you’d want 12/12 or similar, if an auto then there are many options as it does not really care and could go 18/6 for flowering.

What light schedule would you recommend for 2" high autoflower seedlings and at what height with a greengo 1200w light.
Seems like they’re stretching a bit but this is my first attempt.
Dropped the light from 30" to around 24" couple days ago and they haven’t done much since.
Bought bergman’s fertilizer kit and plan on throwing a small dose of seedling fertilizer at them this evening.

I’d go 18/6. I’d think 24" should be fine. Should be able to just use the veg switch at this point to not give them too much light at the seedling stage.
Some info from amazon on actual watts with the different switches engaged:
This light actual consume is 148watt-248watt,VEG channel Power consumption is 148W, Bloom channel Power consumption is 120W, VEG+BLOOM channel Power consumption is 248W.

Auto’s do not produce like photo’s, am I correct on this? I’m on the course for just photo feminized as I bought the same KO pack from ILGM. Im gonna go for 4 MK ultra and 4 Blue dream after I get this harvested:crossed_fingers:
. Im itching to buy the baking mix pack but will wait.

Autos can produce quite a bit under the right conditions but can easily bring small yields if something causes them to go into flower too early, before they get to a good size. I don’t grow autos as I like full control over when my plants go into flowering.
