Seedlings growing side by side

I have two seedlings growing side by side… first question is will they both safely grow? Second is how long to wait before a transplant

Their roots will fight for nutrients. How good is your transplant game? I would just cut one out.

Ive read one will dominate over the other, tangle roots and should be separated as soon as possible. Idk from first hand experience though.

You can let them go for a little bit but eventually one has to go. Sooner than later. Don’t pull it out you could f**k the roots up on the other one, just cut it at the base of the dirt. Happy growing :v:

Yes , instead, just snip one off at the base

Cut the actual seedling at the dirt level?

Yeah, it is not ideal placement, you can separate them if gentle. I wouldn t wait if you want to though. The more involved the roots the harder it would be. Did you want two plants, or was it an unexpected spare to the heir?

So I was having trouble getting seeds to sprout… So i soaked in water for 48 hours and planted seeds that had a taproot coming out… however i planted the seeds who didnt have taproots all in the same pot of dirt with the outside chance of one growing… and I surprisingly got two

Wiggle wiggle the one on the outside while fingering it from the outside and you should be able to remover her and transplant to another pot.
Just have the new pot ready to drop her in.
Don’t wait do it soon …or cut it at soil and call it quits for that one .
Good luck either way

So I gently wiggled one free and got her in her own pot I was too afraid to cut her at the dirt level… I will update in a few weeks to let you guys know if I was successful… thanks for all of the input this is the best community for cannabis growers!!
