Hi,
This is my 2nd grow indoors (3rd overall). I aim to grow, consume, grow. Only problem is the gap between grows. I keep good notes. How’s she looking? Leggy?

HP mix soil
Hardly watered up to this point.
Sprouted about 12 days ago, temps been low 70s, humidity 74-79
Thanks for input.
Excited to grow again and develop more comfort around the process. .
Looking good. I’d say a little leggy, so when you pot up, bury her up close to the bottom leaves. ![]()
Healthy looking and thats the important thing. Its a little leggy but not bad. Maybe lower your light a few inches and see how she responds.
I think you could give her some water already? Take this with a grain of salt because I usually plant in the final home.
In 5g pots I give seedlings 0,5 liters every 3 days for the first 2 weeks. Surely different in a little cup, maybe just some milliliters at a time. Maybe the more experienced will chime in?
Looks good those temps a bit on the cool side but still looks good. Sooner you bury that stem the better. Top off that cup with soil then water it a few ounces. Temperature swings affect stretch so an even 78 to 80F is good
Should I keep her on seedling schedule for a bit or transition to veg?
Just moved her into home pot and watered around the edges.
She vegging now ![]()
Ya better catch up ![]()

Nice! Look at her go! ![]()
She’s had her second feed. Using jacks 3-2-1, and silica. I’m noticing some color variation, is this normal?
Are the tips “painted” from the light threshold?
Lux is 28k.
I fed Friday morning for the first time, and fed again Monday night. That felt a bit too soon, but the soil (hp promix) was holding no moisture 2+ inches down. So I figured I’d check in here…
Light green color on new growth is a normal sign that she’s growing fast. If it continues to show after a few days it likely means you need to up your feed as long as your ph is dialed in. Your plant looks on track for sure!
Are you planning on topping her?
I do plan on topping. (And scrogging. I did that the last grow and got good results. But kinda relearning all that)
Top after 4th node or after 5th?
Topping above the 5th node is pretty standard, but its ultimately up to you and how you want to shape the plant. From the pictures you provided it looks like you are maybe a day or two away from cutting above the 5th node.
Slap her with the ol veg!
