Sea kelp for buds?

Im using sea kelp on my plants. I sprinkle a pinch around the top then water! Kelp is suppose to be high in potassium and phosphate etc… which is good for bud growth. Has anyone heard of this?

Thank you!

I utilize Build A Soil products like Re-Amend-which has Gypsum, Thorvin Sea Kelp meal, Crustacean meal, Fish meal, and Karanja seed meal.

I always keep some type of kelp meal in the program. Fastest growing sea plant and tons of complex micro goodies.
From the web:
Kelp seaweed is a type of marine algae, brown in color, and has a huge growth size. A product of our nutrient-rich oceans, kelp is often mixed with fish products and used as a fertilizer to encourage healthier plant growth, promote greater fruit and vegetable yields, and to overall enhance the general appearance of a garden or plant specimen.
