Scrug, new build, indoor, hydro, Lucas formula

Day 20 of being put into hydro, about day 13 of veg.
First 6 are ILGM fem photos of California Dream.
Second 6 are ILGM fem photos of Critical Mass.
Wondering what the white spots in some of the leaves are from.
Have humidity up to 40%, tent temps still around 84 with lights on.

And the Critical Mass

Looking good Grow Bro, I would recommend getting that RH up into the 60s :love_you_gesture:

Yes, I have the humidifier running Al the time, thinking about putting in a second one.

Had two cheaper temp/humidy meters, put in a different one and it’s showing 60% humidity. Doesn’t pay to go cheap

Day 22,

First two are California Dream, they were topped this morning above 4th node.
Last one is Critical Mass, also topped above 4th node.
4 or 5 others should be ready to be topped in the next couple of days

Good morning, hope y’ll had a good new year.
Here are my ladies at day 27, or day 20 of veg, appear to be getting a little stretching.
PH 5,89, PPM 1200, tent temp lights on 81, RH 57%, with two humidors running, trying to get it up to 65%.
Umol’s between 857 and 1026, depending on where the lady is, lights 12/12.
Pic of all 6 California Dream, ILGM photo fem

Closer look at the 6 California Dream

All 6 of my Critical Mass ILGM photo fem

And close ups of my Critical Mass

8 of the 12 are topped, the other 4 are a little slow and/or very short and stout, some only having 1/4” between nodes.
I only have 5 days to make sure I have it all dialed in before my left hip replacement. Which sounds like I will be home the same day, but might be 4 days or so before I can venture out to the tent, will have to wait and see.

I’ve read through a good deal of the journal . Did anybody ever run Lucas Formula ?

There is a some on here that run Lucas but I have not tried it, I have a lot of GH 3 part and GH 1 part.
Also have some Holmboldts but tried it once and wasn’t happy with it.
Have thought more then once to try Lucas when I run out of GH

Thank you for replying. I was wanting to know if the originator of the Lucas Formula intended for the PH fixers in the GH to stabilize the PH and users to run it that way. I have a thought thats what he / she / they had intended. With no alteration it seems to be settling between 6.1-6.3PH. I adjust to 5.75 PH . Wondering if I’m just working harder than was intended. Do you know ?

No, I do not know, but from people on this forum that I trust, in hydro, PH of 5.8 to 6.3 is good. I try to keep mine adjusted at around 5.8 to 6.0, not always successful

I run what I call Lucas +
Using the add back calculator from H@ck the grow and a few little extras.
When I mix my solution it’s usually 5.6-5.8, dump in the rez and reck 12 hrs. Same pH, ck in 12 hrs, usually up by .05. ck in 12hrs up a tenth. Ck next day, may pH down or let it ride another 12 hrs.

1st run on the season, just snapped this pic. Lucas fed clones. Had a whack start on my clones, my fault so not getting the stretch I wanted. I have 2 more runs before temps get to hot so next run will be :+1:t2:

Do you mix your Lucas as directed on the labels? Does your PPM change a lot? My ppm usually goes up daily, have to keep adding water to the res to keep it down, would love to find something that works better.

I mix however the calculator tells me. Not the bottles.
