Start of my new journal, popped 12 seeds 3 days ago, 6 California Dreaming & 6 Critical Mass, all ILGM fem seeds. 11 or the 12 popped nicely, 1 critical mass did not, going to give it another day or 2 and if nothing then pop another one.
The 6 California Dreaming are under 2 Bloom Plus 4000’s. The critical mass are under one HLG 635w and one Green Beam 480w.
40 gallons using silica Hydrogaurd and GH 3 part nutrients. Going with a 12/12 light schedule from day 1. Active Oxygen ebb & flow, flood 15 minutes every 2 hours.
New light meter will be here Tuesday, so I will get the lights dialed it then around 1000 umol’s.

12th and final seed decided to come to the party, will give it another day for a longer tail before I drop it into the mix with the others. Cold time of year, but tent is running 73 with lights on. Found a light leak I need to address. I put in a sub panel in the garage and ran 4 20 amp circuits into the tent (I hate extension cords) and where I entered the tent with the conduit the pull strings won’t tighten up all the way so I will either but something over it or stuff something dark into the hole from the inside and retighten the pull strings.

Seeing a tiny bit of green after one day in the ebb N flow
Light meter got here today so I will see where I am in the morning. Lights are midnight to noon daily.

Is there a difference between umol’s and umol/m2?
To hit 1000 umol’s/m2 I’m only about 12” above the plants with the bloom plus 4000’s and about 18” above with the HLG 635w.
Day 8 of being placed into the ebb and flow, plants maybe about 1” tall. Umol’s/m2 between 800 and 850 depending on plant location. DLI between 26 and 32, again depending on plant location. Tent temp 82 lights on, lights are on 12/12. PPM 1050, PH 6.6. Going to add more water to the res today and PH down between 5.8 and 6.0, and PPM down to 700-900. Running Silica, Hydrogaurd, and GH 3 part, all at 1/2 dose, when I add water today I will add full strength.

Day 9 since placed into hydro, added water to
the res, went full strength with nutes. PH 5.85, PPM 1000, tent temp 82 w lights on, RH is low at 32%, wondering if that’s too low?
First 6 are California Dream, last 6 are Critical Mass, all from ILGM photo fem seeds.

Day 12 of being placed into the ebb & flow. PPM is 1130, PH went from 5.85 to 7.14 in 3 days, not sure why, so I used PH down, which I hate doing. Back down to 5.93. Umol’s 725 for the California Dream under the Bloom Plus 4000’s and 830 for the critical Mass under the HLG & green beams.

Day 16 of being put into hydro, so about day 8 of veg. Tent temp 86 lights on, RH 36%, umol’s 760-890 depending on which light, PH 5.86, PPM 1130.
Not sure I like the looks of the first 2 plants leaves.
Using GH 3 part, with Silica, rootgaurd.
Will be adding cal mag soon, and Diamond nectar and Koolbloom in bloom stage.
Lights have been 12/12 since day one.
First 6 are California Dream fem photos from ILGM.
The next 6 here are Critical Mass fem photos from ILGM

Lookin great buddy, ya may want to try and up that RH with those tent temps.
I see if I can find a chart that helps me. I don’t stress over,just glance and make sure I’m close

I usually do great through the end of veg, mid to late bloom is where I struggle, foxtailing etc
