Scrog netting yes or no?

Hey guys on my second grow. Well still first I guess as this is a clone from my first (Sheila). I wanted to try something different instead of letting it get too big for the tent cept it in a smaller container 3 1/2 gal and started flower while still pretty short. But did lots of topping and training. After pH problems with Mom and daughter I got that straightened out and Mom’s now chopped and this is daughter (Ruby). Question is she is 5 weeks since flip. Will the flowers double in size from where they are now? Or get much fatter. I have a scrog net but find when I used it last that I can no longer turn the plant around. Does it need to be turned? It is easier when watering. Will these buds that don’t look heavey to me get too heavy and snap? Or do you think it is good to go?

Looks like you achieved the same thing without it!

I don’t like nets, makes watering, cleaning, anything a pain. But they have their place for sure.

Nice healthy girl. If your concerned about weight breaking limbs use bamboo sticks there light but sturdy and will offer support with proper placement. I have nets but have never used them. I’m a rookie on my 3rd grow and have a lot to learn.
Sorry I’m no help but I want to say that’s a nice girl. Happy nugs.

5 weeks since flip. Mother plant went 11 weeks to harvest from flip.

Only bamboo I ever used was for catching fish. Guessing not the same kind for this job.

You’re really past the time when a SCROG should be installed. Your plant is already hardening off and would be difficult to thread through a screen.

I found to my satisfaction that a SCROG will not affect yields either way. But I used a design that hooks to the pot so you can remove/move around.

This was my GDP in soil. I changed to hydroponic and my autos are 3, to 4’ tall and I’m growing super skunk from ILGM. Super healthy plants not if I can just learn training and defoliation with autos.

She’s going to need something to support her, and she’s gonna get very heavy by the looks of her

Thanks , I am real proud of her. All it took was to get my pH issues under control and add some cal-mag.

Bamboo sticks work great nets limit your access to the plants.

I used a net on my last grow for the first time, and while it did help support the heavy limbs, I think I’ll go back to bamboo stakes so I can move it around more.
