About To Start Flower

I’ve been in veg for awhile now and feel like I’m running out of room. This is my first time using this SCROG net I made. I’m hoping I did it right. Gonna flip to the 12/12 cycle tonight. I did some defoliation, but they are so grown.

Looks pretty good to me :+1:
No real right or wrong way I’d say long as it helps spread them out and keeps and even canopy then it’s done right
And looks like you’ve done a good job of both.
Nets help support limbs an increase airflow to so many benefits to useing a net.
As you use it more you’ll get better at filling more and more squares till its wall to wall.
Some strains/phenos are easier to scrog then others but imho, it looks great to me especially if this your first scrog :+1:

Nice. Prepare for them to stretch the first couple weeks of flower. They could double in height.

Thank you! My biggest fear is the over crowding.

Thank you! I was thinking of pushing the colas down throughout the 1st week of flower.

Where did you get those little wheeled carts?

What size are your grow bags?

Thanks

I use 5 gallon fabric pots and got the carts from amazon.

12 days of drying my buds were reading under 10% on my moisture meter, but were not really brittle. The stems were snapping with a bit of force so I decided to bag them up today. I use a electric trimmer, results were ok. Nothing beats hand trimming. My thing is my buds still felt a bit wet and really sticky. Did I bag them too early?

Sweating bag ok
Cure bag early.
Buds “cool” to the touch are too wet
Buds “dry” or not cool, are ready for sweating.
Inside deep from stem, moisture is still departing.
Jar with meter for burping or grove bags, next.

I did bag them already and place a meter in the bag, I’ll check on the humidity percentage tomorrow. I wonder why my moisture meter was reading so low when the buds still felt a bit wet. Maybe I’ll try using a tote bin next time. How long do you sweat for?

I hang till calibrated fingers feel no coolness from bud.
Hanging for a week, in garage.
My Sweating process takes them from 70% down to 65% in two or three days, slowly if possible. Or brings them back up, if previously over-dried.
Then jar or Grove bag
Taste testers, get hung, dried and smoked.
Outdoor grown weed must be washed before hanging.
Indoor grown weed will benefit from washing (softer leaves, cleaner leaves, and hopefully, best of all, reduced mold growing potential.
Currently, great weather for hanging.
Fall 2022 great, humidity
Fall 2023 bad rain daily. too much humidity.

Separating the bush into stalks or branch pieces may help evenly reduce moisture. and allow for gentle tumbling/rotating.
