Seriously though, I did so many things wrong growing Wash, I’d be surprised if her daughter’s buds turn out like their mother’s.

Some people have a natural talent for things, and are able to use judgement. We’re both in that boat. Way more successful on my first grow, than I ever thought. We can figure things out.

Happy Mother’s Day (3 clones)

The first clone (second from left) was transplanted 4/8. The second and third were transplanted 4/13. [image] This pic was taken on 4/16. Here they are this morning. [image] Mother’s Day 5/10.

Wash 1.2 and 1.3 napped is the dark all day yesterday. And this morning I brought them out to enjoy a little Seattle sunshine (light drizzle).

It was watering day today.

Wash 1.3 was placed a little bit too close to the light when she was a 1 day old clone. Then, instead of growing up, she sprouted a bunch of stems from the bottom.

I trained these branches to grow sideways using binder clips on the sides of the pot.

I did the same with 1.2, but she grew up more than sideways than her sister.

Wash and her clones are an unknown strain.
You can see the red coming through in her stems like their mother had.

Wash was getting big enough to need a plant cage to help organize her weird growth.
After seeing what parts actually stuck out under the lowest ring, I was reminded that this plant is growing out of the rock hard branches from the first grow.

I tried cleaning up her undercarriage and thinning out her growth… and another dozen viable clones had to be tossed.

I saved three. I don’t know why. It’s not like I have the room to grow them.

I think so too. One of the downstairs girl’s pots is feeling light and her leaves are starting to droop. I’m going to try to get some before and after pictures when I water her.
