as topic says, I ran out of jars (and time tbh 
) and need a few days before I can trim the rest of this plant. is storing in ziplock in the dark ok? if not, how should I store it all
Is it dry or freshly chopped?
If dry, you can store in Rubbermaid totes.
If wet wait till dry, then totesā¦then canning jars once trimmed.
sorry, it is dry and ready for jarring, I do not have any totes either, going to get something in about 9 hoursā¦ most of the dry and ready to jar stuff is in jars just untrimmed, and i have 2 ziplocks full as wellā¦
Should be fine as long as the drying is complete. 
Also, I use Grove Bags. You could put untrimmed in those as well. It would eliminate the need to āburpā.
If itās only 9 hours, get a small box of some kind and close it.

As @HMGRWN said since you out of jarās now may be the time to switch to grove bags a box or paper bag should hold you over for a few days providing itās not to dry
