I have had my clones for six weeks they have white bumps on the stems but no roots yet. How long does it take to get roots ? Am I not doing something right ?
Welcome @Bobbud Can you supply for info like what method you’re using and what you’ve been feeding them. A picture would help also. Six weeks is a long time so I’m guessing it’s your method.

The bumps are the start odds are you took your clones while ladies were young and recently fed? correct me if I am wrong
To increase odds of clones rooting I cut N and reduce feeding week or more before taking cuttings I also don’t clone from plants under 2 months old if I do I make sure they have been nutrient deprived.
Cloning requires your plant to want and need to root if they have nutrients stored are kept too moist they are less likely to want to search out nutrients and water (root) It is actually an art in that you want to keep them just happy enough while making them lack something to be content

I have them in a small wine glass with 2 inches of water in it and I have the glasses in an aquarium with a couple inches of water in the bottom and I have it covered with cellophane to keep in the moisture. I open it twice a day to let in air. I did take them from a plant that had been fed. The temperature in the room is about 65 degrees is that warm enough ?

I have not given them any food they are just in the water. They are still green and look ok.
the cool temps and fact you have them covered is likely slowing process 70f and fresh air no misting
When i take big cuttings, like i broke off a big branch or something to big for a cloner, i set it in a mason jar or a vase on the edge of my veg room so it’s under softer light and follow all the same steps as if i put it in the cloning machine. Sometimes i even put them up on the sink counter in the window in the summer. This usually takes about 3 weeks to get good roots.
All the strains i have clones from here have taken 5-10 days to take root in an aeroponic cloner. I make sure there are 3 growth nodes on the cutting i’m taking, take the lower fan leaves off and make a clean angle cut at their base. I do everything with a new razor blaze. i dip in a rooting gel, i use rootech, and just add a touch of root riot to the cloner water. If it stays under 78F in 10 days i have roots to put in dirt.
