I just keep mine in a ziploc bag in the a fridge. No issues so far.

best recipe for making your own LC. I really do not like the way malt extract is so cloudy. Can i make a liquid out of honey and water or Karo syrup and water and use less malt? What is your go to for making LC?
I always use Karo syrup (no malt at all.) 5% by volume. Works great. It’s clear. No cloudiness.
I dont know how to calculate that say i use 600ml of water how much karo. How long to pc it? 45 minute? Second @MidwestGuy I know you used sporestore and the first time i ordered from them my syringes came with black caps now they are comming with needles attached. Do you Flame the needle when they are new?
I don’t flame needles, but I switch needles often and use iso alcohol.
I use pint jars and add half to three-quarters of a teaspoon of Karo each.

pefect i have a case of wide mouth pints and i just got injection ports and micropore stickers and plastic lids. do you still need to pc them for 45 minutes to remove any contamination?
I PC my LC jars for 30 minutes. The solution will boil. Be sure to cover it well. I use aluminum foil.
I always used Karo as well. The math is easy. 10% of 600ml is 60ml; 5% is 30ml. I always used a large syringe to measure.
Also, I only ever filled the LC jars around 1/3 full, so when they boil they didn’t overflow.
I use micropore tape to contain the water. I fill the jars up to about 2/3 full or maybe a little less. It works pretty well. I replace the tape once the the PC is done and the jar has cooled. I use a still air box to do this to minimize the risk of contamination.
For my LQ I use Light Malt Extract, Dextrose and Soy peptone.
What strain are they, and do u have to wait for the vail thing underneath to separate before u harvest. I’m not being a smart ass I literally have no idea so I’ll be asking a lot of silly questions

Technically you shouldn’t wait for the veil to separate because you will have black spores everywhere. A lot of people just let them get really big but I hate the spores all over all the mushrooms

The answer is…Growers Choice!
Mushrooms are most potent gram for gram just before the veil breaks. Once mature, they stop producing psilocin and focus soley on sporulation. This involves: RAPID Growth (almost dbling in size after 24 hrs) and heavy spore dumping!
As the grower you have to decide between potency and quantity. I like to favor potency. Harvest after the tear but before spore drop. If you miss and they dump spores, its super messy, at least in a mini tent it was.
