So many differing procedures out there! I do the 50% soil 50% DI water. Let it settle for at least 15 minutes (I usually forget and it sits longer). Pour it through a coffee filter. Test the liquid. Sometimes you may have to add more DI because if it is dry soil it turns into a paste.
If you have plants growing it is suggested to get a soil sample at the root level. I am not about digging into a nice root system! That is why I test the soil before I use it.

Also…lotsa info. Keep JUST what you need in your head for the stage right now and have the grow plan in place. As problems arise then worry a LITTLE. Relaxed growing gets better results in my opinion. We are all here to help. We TRULY want everyone to succeed.

Absofrigginlutely! The input overload is real. Dont run down the rabbit hole too quickly. Retain whats useful and discard the rest. U can always relearn it later

well I’ve been reading for weeks on how to grow MJ…And most interesting I’ve never read up on Ruderalis genome that makes up part of the genetics of “auto’s” … Wow I feel stupid … it seems the genetics of said R. is of the Most Resilient WEED that can grow on scortched land and roadways…HUH!!!I Will Def. Stop Watering Too Much… Please if you haven’t yet,
research the Ruderalsis gene crossbred into our favorite Photo period strains.Now back to NASCAR.;>

Lol. Yea the breeding rabbit hole goes deep deep. Im not the biggest fan of ruderalis myself but it has its niches…
Growing autos outdoors in Mississippi basically means 3 seperate harvests MAYBE possible. 2 easy. Growing them in places like Alaska (skewed month seasons) or Africa (near the equator to screwed daylight hour difference) means predictable harvests. And as u stated, their natural state is usually one filled with chaos and environmentally deadly to regular photoperiods.

Just an update …Round leaves dark green , new leaves turning very light green in color and growing very slowly. I watered around solo cup yesterday,both plants…I think it’s still too wet 'cause they seemed to have stopped growing again. You’d think I would’ve learned buy now…;< I think I’ll go on vacation for a few days ( that way I can’t water them ) LOL. going to get a spray bottle so I can just mist them and put solo back on. stems are real skinny.Light is 24" on 60% for Bestva 1000 . @ 2wks. since starting germination , popped out of soil 10 days ago
Question…When should I start thinking about going 100% on light at 24 " .It has a 100watt power draw at wall.
I am still waiting on last seed to germ tail , seed #4…been 7 days in paper towel with 4th seed BTW… #3 seed came up out of soil last night covered with cup.off to corner of grow room under current above stated light height.

Hey Purp ! Yeah it’s a bestva 1000 series …book says the PPFD (umol/m2/s) @24’ is 532 that’s at 100% dimmer pretty sure. 105 watts power draw. LED.Meanwell driver/samsung diodes
