Hello Growmies,
I am almost at the harvest time frame and I notice unusual new looking bud growth. Is this the result of light leak? Any thought ma are appreciated!
As always with love and thanks!
Late calyx development is often due to good lighting. A light leak isn’t relevant. You can minimize it by reducing PPFD late in flower.
The trichomes on late flower will be less mature than that of more established calyxes at harvest. I run my lighting high and get them all the time. I just trim off the newer calyxes when I harvest.
Ah man thanks for the post! Is it necessary to trim them off? By necessary what I mean is does it affect taste, smell or high?

Beautiful bud porn Grow Bro, if you’re that close you can reduce the lighting intensity or back the hours off a few or both. Late fox tails are typically indicative of lighting intensity ![]()
Thanks so much for the post!

They usually throw them out at the end when they’re about ready for harvest
