Noticed new pistil growth

Curious, should i be concerned about new pestil growth. Just here and there on flower . Nothing major but i can notice them on tips. Checked the trichromes and id say about average of 3 percent amber maybe 5 on colas. Mostly cloudy very few clears

Late development of calyxes is called foxtailing. It can be minimized with proper light intensity (~900 PPFD) during flowering.

Pictures would help confirm this assessment. Can you post a few pics?

Thanks for pointing these out. It looks like they might have some time to go yet.

@Bluedream1 have you been looking at the trichomes on flower? That is a real way to assess when you want to harvest. Harvest based on trichome maturity. I would begin checking trichomes every few days at this point.

They are just fattening up.
It seems to me that they usually have like 3 or so “waves” of producing new pistils as they grow. Like a surge where they “swallow up” the older growth and squeeze into the spaces.

Okay, idk what technique would be best, I would like to go less stress because it’s my first grow but also want a good yield.

Lst would be the was to go. Slowy start bending main stalk if its not to hard. That way all the side branch will grow up and make and even canopy. Somebody told me.to bend her over and make her touch her toes lol. This is one of my girls , im a newbie as well so i was really scared to bend the plant but it did wonders.

Aw mate that did do ya wonders it looks like. I’m wondering if I should do pipe cleaners like you have or just get the cheap lst training devices I saw on Amazon for a few bucks.

I use LST clips and love them. Used to time mine down with wire but now it’s just leaf pulling an LST clips to train.

Looking good growmie!!! Breaking the apical dominance does the plant wonders
