New growth on late flower bud

My AK47 I think is ready to harvest, but in the last few days I found new green growth on the buds. This one was on a 12/12 schedule from seed so I’m not sure how long it has actually been flowering. Trying to keep it relatively small. Input?

It’s normal for flowers to develop late calyxes, particularly when lighting is good. It’s nothing to worry about. I get them every grow and just cut them off at harvest. It in no way suggests that your plant is going to gain additional height.

So probably ready to harvest?

Id personally wait a few more days and let the clear get cloudy and the light cloudy get dark.

It is starting to foxtail, decrease light intensity and duration until you cut them down

When I harvest, should I trim the new growth since it doesn’t seem to have many trichomes?

Definitely clip them off at harvest.
