Poseidon's GDP grow

Hello grow bro’s! The time has finally come for my bew run, it has been a long time, atleast feels like it. Still have a ton of superskunk from the last run but i simply cannot wait any longer. I planned it out to start this grow at this time of year to help with the environment. My last grow went well, avg 6 oz per plant but i battled the heat the entire flower period. So this time im shooting for this time frame so i can get the humidity and heat for seedlings, and the coolness of fall when i flip.
Ok so i changed a couple of things for this grow, first and biggest is i converted to coco instead of my usual ff soil grows. Second change is i will be adding fulvic for the flower change as well as bud candy. Lastly i got a 25 gallon tote i will be using for a resorvoir which will be filled with the usual jacks 321. Im hoping for a tastier smoke this run as because with the super skunk ive done, i would say its a reguler every day plain smoke. Love the thought of grape tasting weed but we shall see!
Now time for business, i dropped 6 gdp fem ilgm seeds on sunday 8/6 into water with few drops of h202. Monday 24 hr later had signs of 5 seeds cracking open. Moved them to wet paper towel for additional 24 hrs. Tuesday seeds were sowed in expanded canna coco in solo cups with full strength jacks. Today, thursday i have 5 nice seedling sprouts, one never germinated, oh well.

Hello grow bro’s! Today is update #1, very excited for this run. These girls are only one week old exactly. So it has been tough training myself to water coco since ive always been a soil guy. I had a tiny bit of cobweb mold on surface but from what i understand it is not a bad thing. I have some extreme myko’s in the cups and watered with fish sh!t and this can cause that and can be quite common in coco. I did notice the growth difference and all i can say is wow. In the pic below i will be keeping the 4 and giving away the far right lady. The far right looks like it has a leaf issue, what it was, was my rough hand rubbing the leafs. I realized after the damage was done. Working hands what can i say lol. Any input or criticism is welcome…here they are!

Thanks brother! Looking forward to seeing what all the hype is. It should be easy with a auto watering system once i get to daily watering.

Coco and auto pots make up about 75% of my grows. Going to run a simple soil grow with in a few days until I get my grow room set up. Easy for the wife to water only while I’m on the road 10 days at a time :love_you_gesture:

I thought about auto pots. After alot of thought, i decided on top feeding because i like the runoff part to keep coco reset daily. Got the auto watering system all set, considering putting in a auto drain system too, just dont wanna give up about 6 inches of height to set up. With big saucers, i can just use a wet vac for 5 min a day.

I top fed several grows but work picked up a year ago and shot that to hell.

Ditto and use it to drain my aeroponic res on change out day :love_you_gesture:

Well boys its update #2 and the young lady’s are only two weeks old. Looking good, really digging the coco. I do have some signs of a calmag deficiency and not to sure y bc i only been using full strength jacks. I may have hit them a bit to heavy with ppfd from the switch to the 350r’s from the flourescent. Was at 475 ish but they are currently at around 440 atm. Got them transplanted and in there forever home. Here they are

Question for you guys that grow in coco. Do you check your ph runoff? I see on the coco for cannabis site it states that the numbers only matter on the in feed. The reason i ask is, i been logging my in and outs for tds/ph, and my ph runoff has been 5.3 to 5.4. Since im new to coco i would love to hear your experiences.
