I have been through 2 Secret Jardin (non-oscillating) Monkey pole fans that quit on me after a very short life span. The second one only lasted 2 weeks of my last grow.
I like the convenient way they clip and hang on the poles which made me choose that fan. Unfortunately they don’t last long and they are way overpriced to be so cheaply made.
Does anyone have alternate suggestions for a clip on pole fan that clips securely and has a better track record than this POS that continues to fail me?
Someone needs to design a 6" oscillating fan that has a bracket mount with telescoping arm that can connect to the poles in our tents. 
I’d buy the heck out of that! Oh yeah and a ball joint at the end so you can point the fan in any direction.
@Bogleg yeah I bought two clip ons at target they work but could be improved on for sure.
I almost bought those Secret Jarden fans because I liked the mounts. I didn’t because of the reviews. I ended up with Hurricane fans that don’t oscillate and have the standard clip. Hurricane, if you’re watching, MAKE A POLE MOUNT!
I know this isn’t exactly what you were asking for, but I hope you will find this helpful.
This is an idea I came up with last year when I got tired of looking for reliable clip-on fans. I’m much happier with the solution I came up with, as it is more versatile and I never have to worry about the clip failing and the fan falling.
I bought these Holmes Blizzard 8" oscillating fans
I drilled a series of 3/16" holes about 2" apart all the way around the base. I use paracord in 2 of the holes to suspend the fan upside down.
By changing which holes I use, I can alter the angle of the fan.
I can easily change the height of the fans via the paracord. I can also adjust the paracord at the top by just sliding it if I want the “swing” of the fan oscillation to go a little more to the right or left.
I am quite happy with this setup now. It keeps the fans out of my way, I can easily change their location/direction, and I never have to worry about them falling.
Like you, I hesitated after reading the Secret Jardin fan reviews. I convinced myself that with all the bad Secret Jardin fans out there, I’ll be the lucky one who gets 2 good fans. I was wrong…the two fans are both trashed.
I did find a Vivosun fan for $30 on Amazon that has a neat looking squeeze clip to attach to the tent pole. This fan oscillates where the Secret Jardin fan did not have that feature. I’ll give this one a try.

I don’t have pictures of it but I use a tower fan I remove the base and tie it up
When I was in a 4x4 tent it would cover the entire tent with air flow
I use a lasco tower fan been running it for at least 4 years none stop
Lasco makes a good fan and they are available at the big orange box store

Just ordered a vivosun 6 inch oscilatting fan. has a clamp built for tent poles. Supposedly its newer.

It would be great if this worked out, though. Such a simple change.
I bought this Vivosun fan to replace the Secret Jardin fans that were total failures. I cant see this fan performing more poorly than those - but the long term remains to be determined.
If this fan performs well I might have saved on The E-BILL. It seems to have replaced two non oscillating fans. Ive read positive and negat8ve on the clamp design. Ill add more grippy pads if need be!
I was thinking of buying that same exact one. I’m glad I get to see how yours does and see if it is worth the extra money. They look like it to me.
I took a 6" piece of 3/8 rubber automotive hose, sliced it down 1 side and slid that over the tent pole where the clamp goes. Gives the clamp more diameter to grip as well as non slip.
