Please help me decide

Hi guys I hope you can see the photo. Its a plant I found in my outside garden. I have an inside garden but have no recollection of what it is. That’s not the issue. I’ll find out hopefully when it flowers. Now it’s never gonna do much outside in UK. Not got a lot of sun either. I can take small cuttings which I am but they aren’t big enough.
It was obviously topped when planted??? Should I take basically half tomake a good cutting. Not sure what to do. I know it’s a silly question. Just stuck on what’s best. Ideas please guys

@Damo if you want clone the plant

It’s the size I get confused with and where to cut. I’ve succeeded before but have a 10% rate lol

Thanks mate

Yeah you could certainly take one of the growing branches and make a clone from it or take both tops and make 2 clones and sacrifice the plant if it’s not going to do well outdoors anyway.

Another option would be to uproot the plant entirely, plant in a pot and move it to the indoor grow after a quarantine period and a few neem oil drenches to make sure you’re not bringing in any pests.

Thanks pal I’ll read that. Its in soil and I only do coco inside. Is that a problem. Like that idea

No, not a problem, could wash off most of the the soil and repot in coco, might lose a few roots but also not a problem, will grow more. I’m a bonsai guy and often cut/trim roots, wash roots out and replace soil with no issues, they get over it pretty quick.

If I went for two plants where would I cut if you can explain. Can you see clear enough on ohoto

I cut off the top 5 inches or so from each branch and root them, I’d also remove most the leaves, just leaving a couple of the uppermost leaves.

I’d cut those tops off

And trim off lower leaves and nodes, leave the top leaves like this

Thanks mate that’s exactly the sort of answer I like.

Also I don’t know if it matters but both heads are topped

No biggie, they will be pre-topped clones (assuming you get them to root). Good luck with it!

I think with the hance of em not rooting I’ll try just reporting indoors. There is a pheno of strawberry kush and I’ll be so happy if it’s that
