Cloning question anyone Please

@dbrn32

Hello, i wanted to ask you a question about cloning. I read a topic from 2 years ago that you gave advice on. My question for cloning. I have a 10 month old female still in veg very big in size. Is she to old to make clones from?

Her branches “shoots” are thick, unlike seeing other pictures of growers and their clones. Their clones look a smaller/ thinner. Or perhaps they are taking younger mother plants to make clones.

Take a small cutting towards a tip. She’ll be just fine.

This is a great read also

You should be able to get a lot of clones off plant like that. Go for secondary and tertiary branches that will be more manageable.

Yeah, take a bunch of small cuttings, make a bunch of clones.

Question for you. Are you keeping and pruning her to be a mother plant? How big is she and do you plan on her flowering? You gotta post a picture

Here is a picture of my older female in veg. I trim a couple leaves from her not much. I did top her not sure if that was a good idea. I just topped all my ladies but only so much could go into flower so she was left behind lol. So now i am wondering if i can make clones with nan older mother. Thanks for the rely and advice , thank you all!!

Good looking girl. I circled a couple that look like nice candidates. I’m sure there are many others like these near by

If you wanted too, you could shorten the plant up to about where the circle is. She will back fill with new growth and in no time you will have a mother of a clone factory.
