I’m close to harvesting my indoor grow, and trying to decide whether to do a preventative peroxide wash when I harvest. There is no sign of mold or mildew - and the humidity in the tents has been very low, like 40%, for the past few weeks.
In my last grow (which was my first, also indoors), I did find one moldy bud while drying the 4 plants - I just discarded that entire branch, and everything else was fine. However, that was in the summer, when the humidity had been pretty high.
This time I will need to use a humidifier, instead of a dehumidifier, to get close to 60F/60RH.
I could do a peroxide wash just to be safe. However, the process of harvesting, trimming and drying 4 plants is already pretty laborious, and I don’t want to add an extra step if it isn’t really necessary.
Any opinions?
