Following the advice @Myfriendis410 and others I decided to dunk in peroxide and rinse in 5 gallon buckets. peace to all!

Looking good from this view. Tell me more about that peroxide butt washing. I am new and getting close to a harvest myself.

Nice harvest!

I wash all my outdoor grows and any indoor grows that had any kind of pests. But it is surprising how dirty that water is after washing even ā€œcleanā€ indoor grows.

@Work4iT Me too, probably 6 weeks away. Watched a video about this and it did take off mold related issues. Could see it floating in the water, but, do wonder what it does to the potency of your buds. He never did get aggressive in his washing, just a gentle shake and fan blowing across them to dry excessive moisture from them. Hmmmm

It does not affect potency.

I put 1 cup 3% peroxide in 5 gallon bucket I spin a little wait 6-8 min. Rinse in 5 gallon and drip dry then to tent

If anything I got a golden retriever and sheā€™s always shedding last grow I was always picking out her long hairsšŸ˜„

Yeah Iā€™m always picking cat hairs off the buds over here, my dog has short hair, never see it.

Iā€™m about 6 weeks out. My auto ??? No telling but before the 2 phenos thatā€™s for sure I need the space in the tent

Did you notice the fresh aroma coming off of the plant material? One of the best smellsā€¦

Yes very fresh cannabis fragrance, forgot to take picture of dingy water in bucket hopefully all will stay fresh in mason jars after curingšŸ‘

Iā€™ve always wanted to try a wash but afraid of how wet your buds will be and how much longer itā€™s going to take to dry.Sorry didnā€™t mean to butt in but I was reading and came across this

Do you leave buds in water that 6 to 8 minutes?

It doesnā€™t take any longer to dry for me, after the wash I swing them around a bit to fling off the excess water and then hang to dry as normal.

Yes I was fearful of losing trichomes too and said wth itā€™s been done for years, this is my first time and I did dunk them 6-8 min and rinse I usually hang the whole plant so I had to basically cut them to fit bucket so we shall see how they dry, they did smell fresh and my water was dirty afterwards :wink:
