Organic soil grows with shindig153

Week two of behind me. The ladies are looking beautiful. Maybe I’m a little biased. The stretch is slowing down and they are starting to push flowers. I’ll call this week one of flower.

Up first is gold Leaf.

Bubblegum

My tent is pretty full. I’m glad I stuck with only two plants.

I was breaking up some gold leaf to smoke and found another seed. This one didn’t crack under the pressure test so I think it’s viable. My King Tut hermied on me and fertilized my gold leaf.

I was thinking of calling it King Gold Leaf or Tuts gold. Not sure though. Anyone have an idea for a name?

Here’s another one Pharoah’s Gold.

Is that a 4x4? I usually grow 3 in my 4x4 and 4 in my 5x5, any more and it is too much. I could sure crowd a 4x4 with 3 plants. I tried 4 in a 4x4 and lost control.

Seeing as the plant Hermied on you it gave you the finger…
Gold Finger for a name? Lol

Yes it’s a 4x4. I had three last grow and felt it was very crowded. I did two this time so I could spread them out more and give each one a light of it’s own. Legal to grow here but technically I’m only able to have two in flower at a time.

That is a good one. She was a real b!@#$ in the end. She said if I’m going to die so are the rest of you with me!

She did gift me a seed so far. I’m hoping my Purple Kush gives up a viable seed as well.

Here’s the start to my outdoor grow. I roughed up all the seeds a little using sandpaper and used peroxide in water at a ph of 6.5.
Autos Jack Herer, Og Kush and White Widow x2. Photos Blue Cheese, Purple Kush because they are pest and mold resistant and on the small side. The last photo is my accidental breeding project. I decided I liked the name Pharaoh’s Gold. Keeping my figures crossed she’ll hatch.

I’ve never heard of the roughing up of seeds pre germ. Interesting.

Pharaoh’s gold! Can’t wait to see it on the ILGM strain line up!

Roughing up with sandpaper is one of so many things I’ve learned on this forum. First time trying it out. Helps make the seam of the seeds a little more thin to aid in cracking. We’ll see.
I was gifted a couple auto Jack Herer from a friend. He’s been having a lot of trouble getting them to pop. I’m interested to see if this makes a difference.

I’ve lost count how many that’s happened with! :dog::joy: your ladies look wonderful I just lurked your journal! I just cut a bubblegum down and took a monster crop clone that I’m revegging now. :+1:t2: so basically you just ph your water and that’s it?

I ph the water. My buddy is watering only without adjusting his ph. I’ve seen no problem with his grows.
