Nutrient switching

Flowering is just getting started for my outdoor apple fritters and Kush Kake ladies!
Whats the consensus for when to switch over from veg nutrients to flower?

I started adding in a small dose of floranova bloom in with regular dose of floranova grow a week ago to ease the transition but see conflicting info on when to cut off grow nutes completely.
And going to try koolbloom to fatten them up this year. The guy at the store said only to use it for first 5 weeks of flowering.
Should I add it to the cycle of feedings now?

Ideally you want to add flower nutrients at least 2 (preferably 4) weeks before you flip it to flower. That way the plant has all the nutrients it needs to start flowering. Since they have already started flowering, feed them now.

First sign of flowering your good. Each brand of nutes will lay out little different feed schedule. Best to start out with their normal feeding and then work up to more aggressive feeding… watch for any problems related to nute related problems and scale back if you see them.
Just my $.02. If you dont add CaMg, you should to prevent problems.. i have ran into more problems during flower with CaMg defieciency when first start growing.. i add just to prevent that from being an issue.

I avoid the whole nute switch conundrum by using the same nutrients from start to finish, currently Jack’s 321. I haven’t been disappointed. Clean, inexpensive, and easy to manage.
