What Calvin rating is your 260?
Or you want to get a new light so you can start new plants faster while the others are finishing?
For veg only it depends on how long you expect to veg. First little while a CFL will do 6400k
Easy and cheap is to buy a burple, depending on how many plants you want to start I wouldnt go any less then 120 true watts.
Then again you can go get a vegging 4k kingbright and and spend a bit more but it will be killer, some burples start to get to pricey for what they are and some burn their diodes out they also have fans and are loud…

What I was thinking is to have a separate tent for seedlings and younger plants while my others finish in my 4x4 with the 2 260’s. I can’t remember what the Calvin is? I found it difficult at times to have the rh I wanted for older and younger plants. Splitting them up will help me with that. Now that I’m thinking about it I could just get another hlg260 or a 320. Too much thinking not enough relaxing .
You use two Kingbrights to cover a 4x4 Nicky? I’m thinking about getting some different lighting for the second grow room. My first crop of buds didn’t get quite as dense as I’d like. Better lights were needed, I think. If I’d had something else I’d probably have harvested another two or three ounces from those seven girls.
I think the Spider Farmers are going to work fine in the bigger room but I tried to buy slightly more inexpensive lighting at first.
Found out crappy lights = crappy buds. Simple as that.
Well I have been spending most of my free time building and getting my new room together. It’s all framed out and ready for the rock I got. Plan to run some wires for lights and outlets over the next couple days. Then maybe get some rock installed later this week. I’m amazed by how much prices have increased and how low some inventory is.
Well not currently, but that will be my next grow.
I normally prefer to overload as I have them in a 3x4 (3x3 grow space). I would prefer to get another 320xl and put it in my 4x4 with my other one but I can’t justify buying more lights I just dropped 500$ on a rosin press setup and gear.
Although a friend wants to come grab a taste so at least the girlfriend wont be as upset lol.
The goal is to have her use rosin and get off the 40$ for 0.5g vape pens ughhh
This week was a busy one between the grow I have going the new room I’m trying to build and all the other fun stuff life brings. My wedding cake was looking good till a couple days ago when I started to have some serious yellowing. The gelato is looking good and getting some frost already. The Bruce will be in the dark by Monday the latest.
The new room is getting there. I have two walls sheet rocked ready for some tape and mud. Also have some electrical roughed in. Got a 20amp for a tent and a 15 for lights and ceiling outlets. I have to do a breakdown of my power consumption to see if I can run two tents on one 20 or will I need the second. Either way a second will be run for future use. Right now I use about 12amps or about 1500w with a small heater. I have to consider a large dehumidifier running 24/7 as well for a few months. Anyway hope to get the last wall finished up this weekend. Only have a few more cuts to make and it will be semi sealed with rock then I’ll insulate as a little insurance.
That last picture is a space I created under the stairs. Will cut a door into it for storage.
That will be a great space to grow in!
The girls are looking great! Is the yellowing just part of the self-consumption? My Pineapple Express is doing similar. Just about all the leaves other than the sugar leaves are getting a yellow tint. The plant and colas are super healthy - so I wasn’t overly concerned. Is that pretty much the case?
Had some trics pics I forgot about. And also got my new vaporizer this week and finally had a chance to play around with it. Hits pretty well after a good heat up. I tried the bag not quite a bong hit but close without the nasty tar. I’ll give it a go tomorrow and see how it does with different strains.

Looking good Bro! If you can believe it… I ran 2 grows on my 15 amp service. The small tent and closet, wish I would of had 20 amps. Winters were manageable with reptile heating lamps and the small 750 watt small floor heater, humidifier, 3 fans, 6” fresh air and my old bathroom exhaust fan in the big closet. Same in the tent minus 1 heater and the 6” fresh air. Summer months are going to be a killer! Man your ladies look “AMAZING”. I’m following the build and grow.
I see sanding in your future. Oh I hate that for you, dry wall sux. Coming along nicely. Can’t wait to see it filled wall to wall with green. I wish I had a dedicated grow room. Maybe one day.
