No sprouted seed through the soil

I planted my germinated seed last Saturday.I am on the third morning with no sprout coming through the soil. Should I be concerned?

Not yet, after about 5 days I would gently dig around and see what’s going on.

I have it next to the window because I plan to move it outside when ready. I don’t want to use a light to confuse it. Will the window sun be sufficient for it to sprout?

Dark and warm til she shows herself

Do you have a small moisture dome to help it maintain the moisture and not dry out

What zone are you? You are going to need more light before she can go out to play

Southeast

I’ll give that a run

My auto flower seed has just come through the soil. We have a few cold days coming up. Will it be ok if I put it by the window?

Window light is better than no light but your plant will probably stretch out from lack of light.
Most plants I have seen grown by a window suffer.

Here is a pic from the forum of someone who tried to grow with window light.
See how his seedlings stretched out…

If you use a window to help with light, it is suggested to maintain the temperature range between 65°F-85°F. Use a thermometer and hygrometer to track these in that area a few days before setting the plant there. If it gets too cold you have your answer.

5 days I agree and depends on how deep you planted

The sprout is through the soil. I’ve decided to get a light and grow indoors due to a cold climate. Since it’s through the soil, should I immediately put it under a light? If I do what should I set the timer to. These are autos.

Put it under 24hr light for the next few days.
What kind of light do you have for now?

I read that it’s good to keep it on 20/4. I got a full spectrum light.
