Nitrogen toxicity

Is that “soil” or more coco? I’m not familiar with it. Perhaps your pH is ok.

I keep my Promix more like soil at 6.4, but since you’ve got some coco in there I would Ph to 6.3.

6 inched perlite with an air dome, 4 inches coco coir, the rest the promix perlite worm casting basalt mix.

Ff trio. 1600- 2100 suggested ppm

FF recommends 1600-2100? That’s seems awfully high for such small plants. I wouldn’t go over 1000.

@raustin tThere 7weeks old. Lst like crazy, 15 inches tall with lst, without 25+. Super skunk. Lots of topping and fimming also. Ff has 2100 at 4 weeks

The thing about that FF schedule is when you start it. So if you start the seedling stage at actual seedling then the whole schedule is off. It needs to be started when there are two sets of real leaves which is more like two to three weeks of the plants life. They don’t tell you this on the schedule. It doesn’t matter all that much as long as your plants aren’t showing signs of nute burn. You can go up to the 1600.

I started weekon week three. So my seven week plant is on schedule week 4 of ff.

Ok, then it shouldn’t be a problem. Forget I said anything.

Lol. So I’ll flush until ppm 200. pH? Shouldn’t I
Think more coco than soil? Then add nutes back @1600 with lots of cal mag?

Drinkslinger- that’s what I thought. I’ve been treating it like coco.

I wouldn’t Ph any lower than 6.3 because your mostly in Promix which is more like soil. There are people that Ph Promix like hydro, but that can also cause problems.

I’ll defer to @raustin. I have zero experience with any of the pro-mixes and or coco.

And is notorious for being too high.

Remember they are not in the business of you CONSERVING their nutrients. If they nudge you a little high well…buy more!

Seriously: run them at 900 ppm and they will be the prettiest plants you have ever seen.

Do a runoff test with distilled water. See what you have. I’m guessing you ought to be in full coco/hydro based on my experience with Promix and coco both.

With the worm casting and basalt and bone meal won’t my ppm be above 200 no matter what?

@Myfriendis410 pH of what then. If my
Run off isn’t under 6 then flush with pH above 6. Until ppm gets down to? They’re asleep now. Would
It hurt to wake them up early. 6 is wake up. 16/8 schedule.

On the mag issue I add a lot of cal mag and epsom salt. I foliar spray cal mag on plain water days.

They looked fine until I super fed them. I’m flipping on 10-13ish depending on this now. But thought to feed then flush then flip.

Yes, you should flush just before the flip and then start Bloom nutes.
