It’s my first rdwc grow with auto’s. I raised them from seedlings. Should I defoliate the underside of the plants? Would this benefit my yield in this stage of growing?

You could grow a monster too if you get away from the bucket and pick up a tote. It frees up so much space for the root zone and you can go longer between refilling. PH tends to drift less as well.

That’s the best kind. How far in are you? Could definitely use some thinning out. You can search defoliation or lollipop and find different techniques and thought processes for cleaning up during flower up to harvest.
Started germination of the seedlings on november 11. They’re in for a good 6 weeks now. Flowering started 2 weeks ago.

So, see the bottom of @OGIncognito plant. Thats what is going to get good airflow into the entire plant. Ive been reading about trimming and see a lot of folk trim at 3 weeks flower and 6 weeks flower. You dont want too stress them too much during flower.

I did mine yesterday and today I see them stretching a few inches more to the light. The problem is I can’t raise my led fixture anymore. So the top branches will be touching it.
Have you looked in LST and getting the canopy to lower a little? I think you’re still in the window?

I have a SCROG net but then I read it’s not good for auto’s and specifically indica strains because they’re already more bushy. On the other hand I don’t find these very accurate. The thing is my tent in width is also already used up. Those two plants side by side are already growing into eachother. Almost. Maybe less then an inch spacing.

You’re gonna have to do something despite it not being the best for autos. Supercrop the top of the canopy and you’ll gain a lot of room.
Are you doing DWC or RDWC?

Need to look into supercropping. It says it’s a little more advanced training. I’m doing RDWC with a top dripper. I know this is not as good as waterfall hydroponics but it give me already some results.

How large is your rez? Are you running a chiller?
I got a 6 gallon rez. without chiller. My water temp is 22 degrees C. Temp inside the tent is 24 degrees C with a humidity of 57 percents.
