Hi! First time posting here. I’ve got an auto bubble going in a 3.5gallon bubble bucket. Started from seed in RR and is now in the basket with hydroton. 180 watt led lights, ph is around 6. 2x3 grow tent. No roots showing yet out of the net. I’m about 12 days in from seed.

Welcome @Southerngal you’ve come to the right place. Before we go any farther, what is the white thing around your plant? What is the clear hose going into your bucket?

Occasionally pulling a cup or two of water out of the reservoir and hand watering with it from the top of the bucket can help speed this process up.
Just keep the hydroton wet and the roots will grow faster and then once they hit the water then let it dry out

The white thing is a collar to cover up my RR. It came with the dwc kit, along with the clear hose. (I know it should be black) going to my air stone.

Ok. I normally run my airline in on the side of the bucke6, close to the top, but it really doesn’t matter. How far below the bottom of the netpot to your water level?

@Grandaddy013 it’s about an inch from the bottom. I just took off the white collar and covered the RR with hydroton. It’s looking healthy this afternoon.

At this point in the game, it seems like forever for them to get going. It won’t be long till they EXPLODE with growth. Then one day you’ll walk in and say “Holy shit, Batman. Where did these bushes come from”

How long since they popped above “ground”. How long from sprouting till you put them in buckets @Southerngal
Those roots were from my 20gal bucket. Plant produced nearly 2lbs
Something that will give you much trouble later on. As the plant matures it will rapidly affect the small reservoir (3.5 to 6 gallon) and necessitate daily water/nutrient adjustments.
I am going to do a single bucket DWC but using an 18 gallon storage container. With that setup I can go 10 days between rez changes and adjustments in between will be far less. You can search the forum and find multiple examples of folks having serious trouble due to small rez size.
