New to this indoor growing

I am doing my first indoor grow. Had great sucess outdoors. My grow module is 4x4x80, two 960w mars hydro led. I am experimenting with one plant defoilage and would like to try clone. My girls are 4 weeks old and in 4 gallon grow bags. Grow med is organic potting soil, compost, worm castings. Plants are short, bushey and dark green. Using tap water, bat guamo, organic plant food with trace minerals and molasses. Any advice is greatly appricated.

Do you have info on how to defoilage or clone

There’s lot of info here to defoliate and clone. I’m from the 60s and grew outside for many yrs. I don’t get the idea of clone. What we did was pick the fullest biggest and cloned a top. That way you know what type of plant you’ll get as it will be the duplicate of parent. From cloning a bud the clone will be ready very quickly.

Did this in summer (outdoors) and clones were harvested same time as parent

Can anyone help!? I started a forum and I asked for help and uploaded a pic, no one has said anything. I have a seedling and one tip of the first leafs is brown.

@farmer
I use one of those lights in a 3x3 tent. Awesome light! The magic number for height seems to be 25" above the canopy (top of plants). I put it at 36" for seedlings for the first week, and then to 25" for the rest of the grow. Im in flower now and still at same 25" height. I also run it with both switches on the entire grow on a 14/10 light schedule.

@Bluedream_45

Im not finding your post. This is the only post that your stats show you have ever made.

I have always grown outside. Have had 14 foot plants. With our weather its either rain or humidity to fight with. This is my first inside grow. Growing trainwreck. Seems to be alot more work inside. I am going to clone and see what the results are. I have no clue what i am doing. Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.

can you tell me what’s wrong with my plant just by looking at it? Please

I don’t think there is anything wrong with it.Did it emerge with the tip of leaf damaged? Could be from seed husk pulling off.

No it was all green, and a few days ago that leaf was touching the soil. And it slowly turned brownish. Could it be fungi??

By the way thanks for replying. :pray:t2:

Thanks, just wanted to make sure.

Young tender leaves can get “soil burn” if they touch rich dirt/media. this can happen with any plant. I wouldn’t fret too much I see no signs of fungi’s, from what I can see. And remember, the seed leaf is there to get sprouts growing until the roots take, they will fall off not long from now.
Hang in there Blue, your baby looks good :peace_symbol:
