Do you use at recommended dose or a bit less? I’m debating rt now on using recycled soil or fresh. I’m using a organic super charged soil, so even on the fresh side I know I wont be using it for atleast the first month. Depending on how its looking anyway.
I use a little less to start depending on soils ammendments. Fill and mix in first ammendment throughout the soil. Wet well and let sit 3weeks. Will break down the nutes and alleviate nute burn. Plant. Follow top dress suggestions from there. A little less till flower. If see her hungry a bit more. A week or so before flip or if you see them start go to the bloom nutes. Follow amounts. More WONT make them get bigger. Top dress…water in…walk away. NO ADDED STUFF!!! Adding supplements beyond calmag will overpower the plant. The amounts suggested are spot on and need no adjusting. Some kind of life builder I highly suggest. Cheapest and best life is found in a scoop of dirt from an established tree and its followers. A couple of tablspns of that live dirt will grow in your pots. Regulate ph. Adjust uptake. Help prevent mold and other issues. Just how i roll most times. Recharge and other purchased life works well. Trick to this top dress style is healthy SOIL. Healthy soil makes a healthy plant.
ALL timers on the top dress stretch out 2 weeks or so. That is when it actually starts getting absorbed. Unlike liquid instant uptake nutes dry top dress requires a week to even see differences. A good ammend will take the times into account.
That’s exactly why I’m going with this brand. What ive been told from a couple ppl is that you dont even need the calmag. My other choice was gaia green, which will need the calmag. I used foop previously and by the time I got to flower was already getting tired of mixing the 3 components each feed.
Would worm castings be considered a life builder or are we talking literally living? Taking into account what you’re saying, I will go with the fresh soil instead of reusing. Its still sealed and healthy.
It is great. Fish shit also. Good to use when building the soil. Dont skimp on perlite.
Thanks!
