New grower. Opinions, suggestions. HELP

So I’ve been asking for far too much from my ilgm family BUT this is the farthest I’ve got with soil and I’m about to switch to coco and autos and autopots but I wanna harvest my first plants and I’m already here. Just turned into flowering, any suggestions? Been using foxfarm feed schedule haven’t been the best at keeping journal

Not sure i see the question. different strokes and all that but i wouldn’t defoliate so much. Plant needs leaves to produce energy and if you take off too much it will slow it down.
Think about it, you buy great lights and remove most of the reason you need them.

I usually defoliate to get light to bud sites and air flow. But leave the rest intact.

I guess my question is what can I do better and I’m looking for someone experienced in coco and autopots but I wanna harvest these in soil first and I agree with the defoliation. My girl stays up late and gets in there and thinks she’s a landscaper shit KILLS me.

Stop trimming and taking leaves. They really could have used a lot move vegetative growth before switching to flower. If you just switched to flower, let them ride. At 3ish weeks into flower, give them a decent defol, then let them ride again.

Yeah they’re autos so they switched themselves idk if I coulda prevented that?

You have air pots so thats a plus.
What kind of soil.
Any extra perlite mixed in soil.
What kind of nutrients are you using.
What kind and how many watts is your light.
How often do you water.
You do know you have 6 to 8 weeks to go. Maybe more.
That reminds me how old is the plant and when did you see flowers come on.

Got soil from a friend not exactly sure, I know it’s a mix between stonington blend, ocean Forrest, happy frog, perlite, rocks, and living soil of some sort, using it before I switch to coco, using foxfarm nutes as they suggest, bloom plus xp3000 or xp4000 on 60-74% about 30 inches from pot 10-15 from top of canopy. Water tap phed to 5-6 as close as possible watered every other day

Oh and and plant is about a month old started flower about a week ago

When you switch to coco your ph is good. For soil should be between 6.5 and 7.0 with 6.8 being optimal. You shoulf still have nutrients in the soil. Happy frog and ocean forest are good for up to 6 weeks. Although your plant does look ok now.
Just make sure you let it get light before watering and give it some calmag once in a while along with the tiger bloom and big bloom.
Check this for switching to coco.

That is unfortunate, but I guess nice she is interested. However, that’s quite the defoliation.

I might recommend you give photos a try. They are forgiving and you pick when to flip to flower. Allows you to experiment as well. Any particular draw that makes you want to stick with autos?

So the seed to harvest time using coco intrigues me, also a lot of the strains I like are auto, ima big indica guy. And of course the quickness. I’m not exactly the most patient

And of course. The time thing and it saying some can yield 16-19 oz/m2 is a real eye catcher

Don’t believe the hype on harvest amounts. It’s all about the grow. The better you get at that the better your harvest.
