First time Auto Flower, any idea what happened?

Hello, I’m new here, I did read through a few posts before asking my question. This is my 4th year growing but my 1st year with autoflower. All other grows were successful and I learned a lot but with these 2 I’m not sure what happened? There doesnt seem to be any pistils, are these ready to harvest? they don’t look how they should imo.

Answer these simple questions the best you can.

Just keep taking care of it. It’ll surprise you soon enough. Its still just a seedling. After the third week and beyond she’ll jump.

Are you feeding it anything?

I did give them a mixture of molasses seaweed extract and filtered water a couple days ago and I did do a light dusting of fish fertilizer around the edges before I added the juice but no chemicals or “feed” products yet I use that molasses mixture on all my other fruits and veggies in my garden so just shared some with the two girls

I don’t like high jacking someone else’s post but growing in coco is completely different than growing in soil. Starting seeds in coco can be tricky.

Coco needs to remain wet, some set up watering systems feeding several times a day. Soil needs wet/dry cycles.
Coco needs cal-mag added with every watering.
Coco needs feeding with every watering, in soil feeding isn’t necessary until nutrients in the soil is depleted.

As for molasses, I haven’t measured the pH of molasses, but I have measured the pH of Fox Farms Bembe which is suppose to be molasses with other additives. The Bembe is very acidic and needs pH adjusted before feeding to keep your soil in healthy pH zone for cannabis. I suggest you measure pH of products you are giving your plant. You should shoot for pH range of about 5.8-6.0 give or take.

I have switched from soil to coco and won’t go back, but you need to learn the best methods and how they are different than growing in soil. I suggest you spend some time at a site called “coco for cannabis”. External Links not allowed so type above without spaces in your browser.

Seems my thread got hijacked.

Any idea why there’s no pistils and with these plants? Im a bit concerned, I thought they would be ready for harvest by now, Im at about 13 weeks and they are autoflower. They also seem to be very airy/spreadout, you can see in the 2nd picture.

Sorry my man was just looking for someone with the same thing I got and see if they had the same problem the thread title sounded like the place to find help but thank you to everyone that gave amazing advice I got some nutrients and made a new buddy at the hydro store that offered a lot of good advice and help so I’m all good now just see how it goes mahalo everyone sorry again my braddah :call_me_hand:t4::call_me_hand:t4:
