What’s up everyone, I’m very new here and still learning the forum and how to use it. I want opinions on my plants. This is my first grow and one seems to be much taller then the other. They are exactly a week old in soil, they stay in temps from 72-78 with humidity at 50-60%. I water every other day and about a half a water bottle each (rain water). My light is a fecida CR600 130w (1000w equivalent) and its about 17 1/2 from both and I noticed the ends look to be trying to curl a little. Could someone give me advice please ?? And also your opinions on how they look or anything ?? Thanks in advance.
They are planted in Fox Farm ocean forest and I have not used any nutes.
Looking good bro … great job so far… buy this to top dress and you can’t go wrong i live by it now… Earth Dust base and bloom it works so awesome this is what I’m growing with it
In seedling stage, you need raise the humidity up to around 70%
But they are looking good.
When you water, water on the outside of the farthest leaf in a circle pattern. It’s like a drip pattern in nature. I find the roots look for water instead of being watered at the steam.
Wait till the cotyledones turn yellow before trying to feed
Agree with Woodrow on humidity. If you want, spray a cup or cut bottle and place on top of plant to add humidity, this is extremely helpful for seedlings!
@Caligurl they are white widow autos and planted in FF ocean forest. IM just looking for advice because I can’t help but stress over them. It almost feels like they are my kids lol
Also don’t over worry and stress about them. Trust me it’s much easier to leave them alone and let them grow, if you’re stressed the plants stressed! Bring that humidity up for a while and then bring it down during veg and she will thank you
I can show you how my seedlings looked if you’d like to compare but no two plants are the same, genetics wise, etc.
Look super solid. Since no growth issues i personally would soldier on no changes. Just me. I will mention your light being lacking. Very common issue almost ALL of us encountered first runs. You have plenty of time to upgrade lighting. Veg does not require a ton. Stay with what you are doing since they seem to like it. Unless something really goes wrong just letem go. If a leaf gets yellow later pluck it. If 10 leaves go at same time…reach out.
Treat them like kids. Let them do their thing until they need a little fixing. Not to much not to harsh and you will enjoy the results
Hey i use the exact same thing you’re using except i add the Earth Dust to too dress with … I’ve had not one problem so far so good… it’s a good combo… best of luck
Looking good
All good advice as well.
Welcome to the community you’re off to a good start. Members have you covered.
Lookin great so far bro… everyone is different and have their own opinions and that’s all i can offer to you… I’ve had some awesome people help me get to where I am now so I’m passing it on… best of luck
Looks like you have done at least 2 things right. You have a great start on your girls and you are on the best forum anywhere
Couldn’t agree more. As a practical matter if you use a clear cup as a humidity dome like @Sammys mentioned just leave it there while you water. If you don’t do the dome just place a cup over the plant at watering time. This is even better than rhizotonic for getting those roots to branch out.
