So question, I got a little over zealous. I have 3 photo’s that I started first that I need to go into flowering. The starter tent I have (2x2x5) isn’t tall enough. Here is the over zealous part, I got a 4x4x6 tent that I started 6 autos in. The 6 autos are 3-GSCE (ILGM seeds) and 3-GG(ILGM seeds). I want to put 4 autos in the 2x2 tent (fills it up) then put the 3 phots in the 4x4 with 2 autos to flip the photos into flower. Will this hurt the 2 autos? Will it mess with their yield? The photos are 2- black and blue monster (207 genetics) and 1 white widow (207 genetics). New grower, first time grow.

I’ve done this several times attempting to flower and finish them together. This all depends on the age of the photos and autos. This is very doable but you’ll need some pot risers for the autos because the photos will grow taller than the autos. 3 autos in a 2 x 2 is a lot as well can be done if you train them early, this is usually done with a SOG and 1 gallon pots. Smaller individual yield but equal overall total.
10 total 4 autos and 6 photos. Took the autos out later and finished the 6 photos. Flipped them early to keep them smaller. 3 x 4 tent and 1lb 3 zips when these finished

As @OGIncognito mentioned Photos an autos Together not a problem. Flip the photos an autos will Continue as normal. I like to finish the auto’s frist leave more space for the photos To produce a little more yield. Good luck

Yah, that was the overall plan, in the beginning. But the excitement got me. I was going to flip the photos in the smaller tent and leave the autos in the 4x4…but then I realized the 2x2 for the photos is only 5 foot tall, which isn’t going to work, they’re already almost 18"…that’s when I thought about throwing them in there together as long as it would affect them negatively. I’m excited to see how it goes in both tents now! Thanks for the assist!

Yeah I get that now! The 2x2 was the first purchase, before I really even knew anything or I would have gotten the taller ones to begin with, was just excited to begin growing. Then I educated myself when I found this wonderful site and got the 4x4x6…which is what I really needed. Thanks again!

Yeah , I use a 4 x 4 x 7 tent. You can grow a lot of buds in a 4 x 4 space. Also manageable and doesn’t blow the budget out of the water with lights.

What are photos compared to auto’s?
Phots-phitoperiod flowers (have to control lights to trigger them going into flower) auto-autoflower, germinate, plant and they go on auto cruise, they flower automatically

Quick question, how do I know when to start feeding nutrients? Do I wait for the plants to start showing stress or do I start after like week 5 or 6? Using FFOF and the FF nutrients. Everything is looking good right now, no drooping, no discolorations. Switched to 12/12 on Sunday 5/1.

Great cannabis friendly medium and for the FFOF I start checking the run off numbers for nutrients around week 4 and if they’ve dropped below 800 PPMs I feed and stay at 1000 PPMs until 2 weeks before harvest and water feed those last 2 weeks. I PH water to 6.5 to feed until then and to run off after I know the roots are good and established or once I see the 3rd to 4th growth node for soil. In coco I do this sooner since the water retention is less
