Starting second grow with jack 321 kit any suggestions or comments about it… my first grow is still on going with fox farm trio …im looking forward to not having to mix the liquids from all the bottles
Make sure you mix part a and epsom really, like really good b4 you add your calcium nitrate. Use a pump or wave maker to mix it up, piant can mixer on a drill will work but i like to give it a little more time and not have to tend to entire process

Should i let it sit after mixing each one in?
I add part a and epsom at same time. Let pump do mixing for a good ten minutes, then add the calcium nitrate, i add it as the pump is still mixing but only after atleast 10 minutes.

Jack 321 you feed every time you water correct?
If in coco. Im in soil and rotate between the two. Ist time for me as well. I was a ff guy as well but after seeing every1’s buds using jacks, it was time for the switch.
And from what i understand, you do not need to flush either on occasion. That got old using ff the switch will be worth it in itself if that is the case

Are you using the full dose?
I did alot of flushes, as the schedule called for. Takes too damn long.

Jacks can be full dose, but for me never more then half for the ff

I only flushed one time in 4 years with FF. I never needed a flush and when my soil is depleted, I use full dose two to three times a week.
But to take 10 mins to mix Jacks is beyond to long for me. And I can not hand mix it. Then I have to use
even more power on my VA Disability. Yup…FF for me.
Well @MrPeat your a freak of nature and you know it lol without the flush mine would build a insanely high yds even with 20% runoff

You will come over at some time. I did not wanna switch to led either but so far…im glad. Cost per gallon a fraction with jacks. The only con is mixing the nutes. But same start to finish and with watering system with halos and pump, makes up for it

Way more ph stable with jacks for sure. Mine goes to 6.5 after mixed with tap. I needed to ton of ph up with ff

Oh I know I’m the freak of growing weed. I have been thinking about one tent with Jacks and the other FF. I may take 10 months to decide yes or no. But first I need to make room for another tent. I want one dedicated to my Sativas and the other CBD and Autos.
I have to know every single pro and con. When I decided between living in Москва vs meeting Carlito Fuente, Jr it was a 9 month decision. Moscow won as I knew Carlito would come back to KC. I actuallly talked to him while at a Ukrainian restaurant just north of the Red Square.

Do i need to add cal mag since im using ro water or the epsom takes care of that? Also considering switching to tap
That can be a loaded question depending who you ask. In general, u would get your calcium from part b, magnesium from the epsom. In theory you should not need more BUT in coco with strong led’s, some people say they needed more. You could just up the part you need from the 321, but me personally would just add calmag instead of more nutrients. But i would not add unless it was needed.
